Mental Health Perspectives from Inspiring Writers on Medium

Dear Reader,

Mental health has been of great interest to me for decades. I opened my mental health reading journal to add my new story about boredom to it today.

Looking at the journal, I am amazed by the stories and poems I read about mental health on ILLUMINATION. So I thought it would be valuable to share some prominent ones with our discerning readers of this topic.

I am the founder and chief editor of ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications on Medium. My beloved publication, ILLUMINATION, hosts thousands of articles about mental health. 18,000+ writers contribute to ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications on Medium, consisting of ten generic and specialized publications on Medium.

ILLUMINATION ILLUMINATION-Curated ILLUMINATION’ S MIRROR ILLUMINATION Book Chapters Technology Hits SYNERGY Readers Hope Illumination on YouTube Illumination Gaming ILLUMINATION’s Blog

and my personal publication Euphoria where I keep my health articles.

It is impossible for me to sort all and create a collection by myself. Frankly, it is not one man’s job. However, 115 editors support my publications. Thus, I will ask other editors to feature as many articles about this topic as possible to add them to a single collection. This collection can allow easy access to our readers. Most of our readers ask for easily accessible curated content by our editors.

I also have a personal publication called Euphoria, where I collect my mental health stories. My regular readers enjoy them as I cover essential and interesting health points for society. Even though I have an academic background in cognitive science, my stories cover practical points reflecting my personal experience. I don’t share academic content on Medium.

My other contribution to the mental health field is authoring a practical book covering essential aspects of the topic. I shared the chapters of Powerful Life-Changing Hacks That Truly Transformed My Life on Medium using ILLUMINATION Book Chapters. This publication also hosts several books relating to mental health.

I also blog about mental health regularly. When I read important stories, I spread the word through my blog posts and social media posts, especially on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Quora, and Reddit. I also enjoy pinning stories to Pinterest, which brings a new audience to these stories. For example, my pins this month had two million impressions.

People use various methods to deal with mental health issues. For me, learning to orchestrate my life has been key to my self-improvement in mental health. And removing mental clutter helped substantially. I learned to achieve more by doing less. It was my secret to success.

Even though I act as a social media evangelist for business, I shared one of my concerns about social media’s adverse impact on mental health, reflecting how a disciplined social media fast contributed to my mental health.

Dealing with emotional stress for energy production has been of great interest to me. And simple life hacks like removing fiber from my diet significantly impacted my mental health and overall well-being.

It is enough about my interest in this topic. Please remember to add a mental health tag to your story when posting your stories. The more you submit to this tag, the higher your chance of being recognized as a top writer on Medium.

Mental health is a big topic on Medium. There are four topics that Medium can distribute your health stories to if your stories are chosen. Mental Health is one of them. There is also a specific topic called addiction related to mental health. So if your mental health story relates to addiction, please remember to use this tag too.

After this introduction depicting my interest in mental health professionally and personally, I’d like to share some interesting stories and inspiring poems recorded in my reading list.

Featured stories and poems relating to mental health on ILLUMINATION

In this post, I only included stories hosted on ILLUMINATION. I plan to share stories from ILLUMINATION-Curated in another post.
