Here’s My Testimony of Hydrolyzed Collagen.

Remarkable benefits of hydrolyzed collagen for joint pain

Inflammation and pain in joints are not fun. They affect our lives adversely. Fortunately, I came across a proven natural solution. Like many people, I used hydrolyzed collagen in my bone broth and fixed my knee and muscle pain naturally.

Collagen holds our body intact by connecting the parts. My body needed more collagen to function better. This story highlights my reasons for using this incredible nutrition. Pain is not fun. I hope this story can give some insights to those suffering from the symptoms of arthritic pain.

As mentioned in my previous stories, my chronically inflamed joints caused me much suffering for many years. The suffering continued until I discovered this natural substance that fixed the joint problem and prevented it from re-occurring.

Acute inflammation is good for our health, but chronic inflammation can be problematic. Many factors can cause inflammation in the body.

In my case, there were two leading causes of inflammation. The first one was intolerance to specific plant-based nutrition, and the second one was excessive cardio workouts.

I used to run long distances. Running gave me a glorious feeling and kept me energized in the beginning. Cardio workouts were fun and gave me a lot of bliss. Cardio was my main workout on those days. But I had to switch to a different workout regime.

After a while, my knee joints and soft tissues got inflamed and started hurting because of running and intolerance to plants. Besides, severe muscular back pain caused by arthritis was driving me crazy.

The pain and suffering turned out to be unbearable. My body produced excessive inflammation. I become immobilized. I couldn’t move much and had to give up exercising entirely.

Giving up exercise was not a good life choice because the inability to exercise caused me to gain weight and lose muscle. My bone density was adversely affected too.

The more fat I gained, the more painful my body felt. In my joints, constant pain signals, particularly in my knees and lower back, woke me from a deep sleep. Restless and uncomfortable nights contributed to the growth of my pain and chronic inflammation.

My mood suffered too.

Upon advice from my doctors, I received powerful painkillers and anti-inflammatory medicine. These medicines helped a bit by reducing inflammation temporarily. However, they upset my stomach.

While painkillers were numbing the pain, they were also suppressing my body’s natural alarms for recovery. These pains were the notifications that something was wrong with my body.

However, medication silenced the messenger. Being young and uninformed, I did not understand the true meaning of pain. I desperately wanted to reduce the pain.

The chronic pain in my joints and back continued for a long. It took almost a decade. The pain was preventing me from completing my daily tasks. Worst of all, I couldn’t meet my basic needs.

Rheumatologists agreed that I had chronic inflammation, causing lower back and joint pain. These specialists prescribed I use high-dose anti-inflammatories for a lifetime. Each specialist offered me new anti-inflammatory medicine each time.

Even though I did not like the idea of using anti-inflammatory medication for a lifetime, these medications were easy to prescribe by the family doctor. My physicians also gave me more potent painkillers in injection form to reduce pain symptoms. They all served the purpose of temporary relief.

In a nutshell, anti-inflammatory medications helped me a bit and gave me a brief breathing space. However, they were creating lots of side effects. The main side effect was stomach pain and digestive discomfort. My health situation was getting worse and worse.

The only positive thing I was able to do were gentle swimming, hydrotherapy, and peaceful walks. These gentle exercises kept me going a bit, but my pain never ceased, and my fitness suffered.

Limping due to knee pain lowered my self-esteem and self-confidence. I tried to hide my limping as much as possible by staying inactive.

Despite all this, I never stopped learning. I stayed optimistic and imagined optimal health.

Since I enjoy reading and learning new things, I constantly study medical literature and alternative therapies. I am open-minded and enjoy taking risks for personal growth.

Alternative therapies sounded promising. My first encounter with a naturopathy doctor was an eye-opener for me. This caring and talented doctor introduced me to hydrolyzed collagen.

Collagen is critical for the health of muscle, skin, connective tissues, tendons, and ligaments. I thought the collagen amount in my body was sufficient. But I was wrong. This doctor recommended I supplement with hydrolyzed collagen.

Why is hydrolyzed collagen special?

Because hydrolyzing collagen breaks the collage down into smaller pieces, when collagen is hydrolyzed, it becomes easy to digest. I got collagen from gelatin, but it was not as effective as hydrolyzed collagen.

Finding high-quality hydrolyzed collagen was easy. Many health shops, pharmacies, and even grocery stores in some countries sell hydrolyzed collagen.

Hydrolyzed collagen can easily mix in water and has no distinctive taste. It was effortless to drink several cups every night.

When I drank hydrolyzed collagen, I started feeling relaxed in half an hour and quickly fell sleep. And I did not wake up in the middle of the night.

Within a few months, my knee pain started diminishing. I was feeling more active and flexible in my movements. I continued drinking hydrolyzed collagen and supplemented it with more gelatin.

As mentioned in my article about fixing my leaky gut, bone broth is my primary gelatin source. The help of hydrolyzed collagen and gelatin from bone broth helped me recover from painful joints. My muscles got recovered fast. My leaky gut was fixed as a by-product of this supplementation.

I don’t experience knee and muscle pain anymore. However, I still drink several cups of bone broth with a spoon of hydrolyzed collagen every night. It is my nightly stress management drink. Also, it is my favorite drink as part of my evening routine.

I make my bone broth at home by boiling the bones in a slow cooker for 24 hours. Hydrolyzed collagen and gelatin prevent the decay of my joints, and they protect gut linings.

When I drink bone broth with hydrolyzed collagen, I fall asleep quickly. The critical ingredient for assisting with sleep is the relaxing amino acid glycine. This amino acid contributes to restful sleep.

Having a restorative sleep helps me lower my stress. Reduced stress contributed to healing my knee, other joints, and sore muscles in my back.

Since I started bone broth with hydrolyzed collages, I have felt healthier and happier. I have strong joints, bones, and muscles.

I am grateful to this naturopath who introduced me to hydrolyzed collagen.

It was a life-changing experience for me.

Thank you for reading my perspectives.
