Purpose of the Post
As the founder and chief editor of ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications, I regularly curate educative and engaging pieces from different writers. In this post, I share a collection that I created on love and relationships.
Our editors also curate stories from multiple topics. Here are three sample collections from different editors.

Introduction and Context
Some people say life is all about love. It is the most discussed topic on earth. Thousands of books and perhaps millions of poems were written about love. A majority of fiction books are related to love. The opposite of love is considered to be fear, and some think that it is hatred.
It is not possible to reach a consensus on love and how we relate to others. The way we love our significant partners, kids, parents, families, friends, colleagues, and pets may vary.
Love and relationships are tightly coupled. Love is considered an emotion or state of mind. Relationships include our emotions, thoughts, and behavior. In my opinion, a relationship is an action-oriented behavior that can result in and cause some behavioral change, such as connection, whether positive or negative.
The way we relate with others is also different. Some of us can create warm relationships easily. But on the other hand, some of us have difficulty connecting with others. Relationships may affect our physical and mental health.
Talking and writing about love is good, but living love is what really matters, in my opinion. However, we can gain insights from the experiences of others. Some people are successful in experiencing true love, but some are not. Both groups can give us valuable perspectives.
Relationships can be very complex. Logic and common sense sometimes do not work, even though they are essential ingredients. Our inner world, emotions, feelings, thoughts, psychological states, and mood swings make a difference in relating with others.
Relationships are comprehensive, covering many aspects of our lives. They include parenting, friendship, and many other topics. Trust plays an essential role in relationships.
Some relationships can be detrimental. The biggest problem is with toxic relationships when partners abuse one another. Unhealthy relationships create lose-lose situations.
Excellent relationships create win-win outcomes. They extend, expand, and enhance the capabilities of involved parties.
I am an avid reader of stories on these topics. Reading about these topics gives me various emotions, especially joy and new perspectives. Each story I read in this collection gave me different views and ideas about love.
Frankly, I am not an expert on love and relationships topics; however, I attempt to post some stories. I write about the cognitive and emotional aspects of maturity, reflecting on my personal and professional life experiences. One of my recent stories that my regular readers enjoyed was Why Emotional Maturity Is Critical For Relationships.
My conclusion in this story was: “We can develop our emotional maturity by being authentic, approaching people with empathy and compassion, accepting our imperfections, and depicting vulnerability. The best hygiene for emotional maturity is a mindful life, being aware of every moment, and seeing things as they are without judging them as good or bad”.
Previously I mentioned the love and relationship collection in this story. We plan to develop this page and integrate it with the new design. As mentioned in this story, we created a featured page called “love and relationship”. The purpose of this story was to invite contributors to the former PSILY (PS I Love You) publication, which was unfortunately closed due to a lack of funding. I am pleased some of these writers have joined my publications and transferred their curated stories.
Today, I selected and compiled some stories related to love and relationships topics from my reading list. I am pleased that most of these stories now show on our Love & Relationship featured page.
Both love and relationships are comprehensive tags on Medium. Relationships have 230K stories contributed by 75K writers.

Love is even more significant, including 367K stories contributed by 127K writers. Other related tags are dating, family, and parenting.

Relationships come under the “Self” domain. There is no topic for love. However, as mentioned, it is a gigantic tag. Other related topics to relationships in the Self domain are family, parenting, sexuality, self, lifestyle, beauty, astrology, and spirituality.

So when you submit your relationship and love stories, you may consider the tags of this domain to increase the chance of distributing your stories to multiple topics.
We are soon re-designing our publications. The focus is on collections to give easy access to our readers to find relevant stories. This page will be one of the main pages in the new design. I will explain the new structure in an upcoming post soon.
Another purpose of collections is to introduce writers and create collaboration among them. So if some stories resonate with you, you can meaningfully engage in those stories and connect with those writers.
Love and Relationships on ILLUMINATION
We created a featured paged for love and relationships on ILLUMINATION. Your stories with these tags are automatically captured.

We also have a love and relations tab on the front page banner.

Selected Love & Relationships Stories
This collection includes only a small number of stories from my reading journal. This list includes stories only from ILLUMINATION. There are hundreds of stories on this topic on ILLUMINATION-Curated too.
It is impossible to add them to a single post. However, I will find ways to create more visibility for stories related to these topics.
I enjoyed reading every story on this list, and I hope you will enjoy them too.
I excluded poetry related to these topics, as I will cover them in another collection. My poetry list is gigantic because I love reading poetry. I will add poetry about love and relationships in another collection. Please enjoy one of my favorite poems as a spoiler. Simply Love: Our World’s Survival Guide — Including Accompanying Video Poem by Martine Weber.
