Symbiotic Healing, Love, & Trees

Tree Hugs, Valentine’s Day Edition

By billcosmos

Trees gift us with vital oxygen, but Taoist Masters know that trees have far greater healing powers than that. They can take negative energy and transform it into good energy. Qi Energy or Prana. The universal healing energy of life that flows through all creation here on earth and other pranic realms unknown to human minds.

The secret essence to vitality and happiness.

“Alone with myself the trees bend to caress me, the shade hugs my heart”

-Candy Polgar

Trees are Love

When you stand out there in nature, taking in all that love and healing from your favorite tree, it’s like any love; when there is a genuine connection, you both benefit from the positive healing energies.

It’s a Yin, Yang's kind of symbiotic flow of energy.

A strong connection takes time to mature and blossom. It needs constant nurture and empathy to cultivate the right relationship, over and over again. It can't be rushed through, and it can't be artificially created.

Speaking of love, larger trees are always better when it comes to healthy, loving, healing trees. They simply carry and transmit the most energy. Like any other loving energy, though, too much of a good thing can be hard to handle. It might be good, but not on your frequency. It’s best to take it easy and let nature take its course.

We are usually not so impressed by small trees; that's the nature of the beast. They don’t do much for us but try to get a gigantic tree’s undivided attention, and you might have some work to do. Trees need to take an interest in us, too; that’s how love works. They have their own life force and desires. Trees can’t be tricked or forced into it; they are too grounded and wise.

Some might be generous and full of loving energy to give, and others need love because they are weak or ill. Love goes both ways. Your love can clear out the destructive energies from trees, which revitalizes them to continue their divine and glorious job.

Like any other love, it requires proper and constant communication with a whole lot of patience. Returning to the same tree rather than relations with any tree will serve and cultivate more resonant and meaningful communication. It’s silent communication, and the exchange of energies starts to feel more like a harmonious dance when you get deep into it.

Choosing the right tree for you can be very personal. It could take time to search and wonder for the right one. Some find their tree right away, and some take a while—it's about the beautiful journey of reflection and self-growth that makes tree love magical.

By Georgia Dimitrious

Of course, I have hugged many trees, but I still have not found the loving, healing tree I genuinely belong with.

I have traveled farther than anyone into nature to find my right one. At times I thought I found it, but time showed it wasn't my tree to love.

The other day walking by this handsome tree pictured here, at Judiciary Square, Washington DC, I had a revelation.

It was a strong and proud tree, but one that has seen some twists and turns in his lifetime, like the birthing scars of a mother or missing limbs of a wounded warrior.

These neighborhoods and parks are full of stories of bad weather and incredible triumph. They have the most beautiful, diverse, and rare trees you will ever see.

I imagine them being gifts or treasures from travelers from all over the world to the people that lived in these mystical neighborhoods.

Large, mature, handsome, and incredibly wise trees have overpowered out of the sidewalks, crawling on marble buildings and living happy lives in the parks—endless parks full of many trees, right here in the city.

“To exist as a nation, to prosper as a state, to live as a people, we must have trees.”

― Theodore Roosevelt

I don’t know much about them, but it’s a cosmic revelation, for me at least, that you don’t always have to go far to find what you are longing for in life.

Pine trees are powerful, immortal, and everlasting; they symbolize marital happiness and fertility. We can find other powerful and vital trees close to running streams. But, at the end of the day, all trees carry their own special kind of love and healing magic.

This loving energy can come from plants as well. My house plants are the prominent elements of my relaxation and meditation. I get lost for hours looking at them, wondering what they need, researching and caring for them. I believe my plants intertwine with my personal energies. If I have negative energies or blockages, I see it in my poor plants. They get sick, dry up, grow fungus and sometimes even die. They are not as resilient and everlasting as trees; they are more fragile, like our hearts.

A Tree is the “most spiritually advanced plant on Earth.” Nothing living is more rooted deep into our earth like trees. The deeper the roots, the higher the universal connection from above and within.

“Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth.”

― Herman Hesse

Take the healing journey with me. Get out into nature and get to know a tree you connect with. Listen to its wisdom through the silence. Connect with its cycles of healing and rejuvenation. Feel that love that connects humans to pranic infinite healing energies. I’ll do the same.
