Illumination Integrated Publications are growing rapidly. Now more than 23,000 writers contribute to this illuminating publication on Medium and beyond. We created a new publication called Illumination on YouTube.
This publication aims to create a bridge between YouTubers and Medium writers using our YouTube channel and seven prominent publications. Many YouTubers are bloggers, and we believe that Medium is a great platform for them to find a new audience. You can find the details in the attached invitation post.

Transcript of the Video
In this short video, I will introduce Lawson Wallace, who is a prolific writer and a supportive editor on Medium. Lawson currently supports several publications, including Illumination, Synergy, Readers Hope, and Illumination’s Mirror.
Lawson was born in Lubbock, Texas. He is the oldest son of a man who was enlisted in the United States Air Force. Therefore he had an opportunity to travel with his family frequently. In fact, he completed his schooling on a military base in Japan. He learned a lot about Japanese culture and made many friends.
He is 62 years old and living with his wife in South Carolina, the United States. Interestingly. Lawson mentioned that he met his wife on Facebook years ago. He worked in the security field and learned a lot about the behavior of people involved in crime, as he reflected in his stories.
For many years, Lawson had dyslexia. But this condition did not stop him from writing and reading and gaining new knowledge. Here draws content from his experience of being dyslexic. His struggles dealing with dyslexia enabled him to write stories that create hope, entertainment, and valuable information for readers. He shares his personal weaknesses and setbacks in his stories honestly and openly. As a result, he received valuable and encouraging feedback from his readers.
As a writer, Lawson has a unique writing voice. His stories are simple and straightforward. He refrains from complexity and perfection. For example, he keeps his sentences short. He mainly uses everyday words and phrases. Overall he keeps clarity, brevity, and impact in his writing.
Lawson joined Illumination Integrated Publications as a writer. As he posted many engaging and quality articles and supported other writers Dr Mehmet Yildiz, chief editor and owner, offered him to join the editorial team of Illumination Integration Publications. He accepted the position as he enjoys giving back to the writing and reading community.
He is also part of our Slack workspace. He meaningfully engages with writers and readers. Lawson brings publishing issues to the editorial channel on Illumination’s Slack workspace as an excellent team player. He participates in discussion sessions. He reviews draft submissions and quickly publishes them. Our writers and readers provide supportive feedback about his editorial role.
Lawson writes a lot about disadvantaged people. One of the common themes in his stories is homelessness. His stories attract specific readers who have similar life challenges to him. As he experienced homelessness for a while, his stories reflect discernible empathy and compassion for disadvantaged people who face similar setbacks in life.
In addition to reviewing and publishing, as an editor, Lawson also provides practical advice to contributing writers of our publications. His advice comes from his experience and hard-learned lessons. He walks his talk. New writers value his insights and contributions.
