Meet J.S. Adam
Senior editor of ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications on Medium
In this post, we introduce JS Adam, who is a freelance content creator, ghost writer, part-time teacher recruiting consultant and a homeschool teacher for her children and others in her community.
She has also illustrated for children, both under her name and as a volunteer for charity programmes. In mid 2020, she finally took the step to write on Medium after a long history of lurking and creeping around her favourite writers since 2018.
Long before she decided to become a full-time stay-at-home mother — with many part-time jobs — Jay was a school and art teacher for 16 years.
She has travelled to over 15 countries and has lived in five of them starting from the age of 19. Born and bred in Europe, with a mixed race ethnicity, being a citizen of the world suits her best.
Though many have probably come across this historical event, it is worth mentioning that Jay was nearly born in the presence of this prolific figure.
Jay currently resides with her big family in the United Kingdom, which she chose to call home until her next step in this vast world; possibly Bosnia or Turkey, this time.
Writing on Medium and editing at ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications has opened many doors for her future plans as a writer.
Presently, she’s on “sabbatical” from writing on Medium — she thinks Ev Williams said it’s ok — to pursue her wish for writing and illustrating.
