Jennifer Geer is a freelance writer and content creator who writes for Medium and Newsbreak, along with freelancing for various clients.

She began writing for the Illumination Integrated Publications in May of 2020 and joined the editorial team for Illumination and Illumination Mirror recently.

With a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, a background as a design engineer for an electrical contractor, and in her current role as a stay-at-home mom, Jennifer uses her education and experience to bring a unique insight into her stories.

Jennifer lives in the Chicago suburbs in the United States with her husband, daughter, and two pugs, where she tries to find enough hours in the day for her favorite pastime of running.

Jennifer enjoys writing on a variety of topics, but her main focus is on health and fitness, local Chicago lifestyle content, writing advice, and true crime.

Her local content received remarkable readers on NewsBreak and many of her interesting stories went viral.
