Updates On Current Gaming News #6
It is a good sign suggesting Meta is on the right track, and the headsets that cater to gamers are currently being worked on.

In this post, I will be covering some interesting gaming-related news. Recently Mark Zuckerberg spoke with Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast.
During this podcast, he announced Meta’s new VR headset would be released in October this year. But unfortunately, this new VR headset will most likely cater to businessmen instead of gamers.
However, it is one of the four VR/AR headsets, Meta is planning to release it within the next couple of years.
This is a good sign suggesting Meta is on the right track, and the headsets that cater to gamers are currently being worked on.
During Gamescom, the new Gotham Knights game was announced to be coming out four days early.
Along with this announcement, a few villains were revealed which consisted of; Mr. Freeze, Clayface, and Harley Quinn. Also, IGN posted a seven-minute video showcasing the Harley Quinn boss fight.
This fight is an instance when Nightwing takes on Harley Quinn in order to free several people being mind controlled by Harley.
I noticed from the video that this version of Harley Quinn looks very similar to Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker from The Dark Knight movies.
This seven-minute video really got me excited about this game, and I can’t wait to try it out.
It was recently announced that 2K Games had confirmed a new Mafia game, likely to be called Mafia 4.
After playing Mafia: Definitive Edition, I was wondering when they were going to continue the story and create a new game.
But there’s no need to wonder anymore since the general manager Roman Hladik stated this in a recent blog post:
“I’m happy to confirm we’ve started work on an all-new Mafia project! While it’s a few years away, and we can’t share anything more right now, we’re really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories.”
Despite the fact that we probably won’t be able to get our hands on this game for another few years, it still comforts me to know another game is on the way.
On the topic of Mafia, 2K Games is celebrating Mafia’s 20th anniversary by making the original Mafia game free for a limited time.
It will be free on Steam from the 1st of September to the 5th of September.
Once you claim the game, it’ll be in your library forever.
There is absolutely no reason not to just add it to your Steam library, just in case you want to play it later.
This concludes my sixth iteration of current gaming news.
If there is any notable gaming news I missed, please don’t hesitate to let me know by leaving a comment in the comments section. I would love to hear about it.
