A fan-made conversion mod of the Simpsons: Hit & Run
First I’d like to provide a brief introduction for those who don’t know what The Simpsons Hit & Run is. I hope you enjoy this review and update.
The Simpsons: Hit & Run is an action-adventure game set in the Simpsons universe with various Simpsons playable characters. It was released in 2003 and developed by Radical Entertainment.
Hit & Run was made for various platforms, including Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, and Windows PC.
The Simpsons: Hit & Run was a massive part of my childhood. It was my absolute favorite game to play on my Playstation 2. Although I never completed the game, I always had fun with it every day after school.
So when I heard about a fan-made conversion mod that converts The Simpsons: Hit & Run into a Futurama-based game, I was beyond excited.
The developer of this mod initially got the idea in 2015. He said he always wanted a Futurama: Hit & Run game growing up, so he decided to make it himself.
Currently, the development of this mod is ongoing. But luckily, we have some details of what the mod will include.
The Futurama: Hit & Run mod will be built on the original Simpsons: Hit & Run framework but with a modified map, character models, vehicles, and storyline.
The setting will be in the 31st century in the city of New New York (that’s not a typo, that’s actually the name of the city in the TV show). I love futuristic and space scenes.
The story will consist of three levels.
Level 1 set in New New York (daytime).
Level 2 is set in space.
Level 3 is set in New New York (nighttime).
Luckily a demo for this mod will be released in September. But unfortunately, there is no set release date for the full game.
The developers say they wanted to take their time developing the mod. Fortunately, though, they have released a demo trailer showcasing some gameplay.

I’m so happy that there are people like this that go above and beyond to create these amazing mods for eager consumers.
They honestly deserve more respect than they are given.
