My Perspectives on Stray

As I loved this game, I want to share my review and experience.

Stray is a brand-new third-person adventure game. It was released on the 19th of July on Playstation and PC platforms.

It has gained popularity through social media and through high ratings on Steam and the PlayStation store.

It is priced at $30 (USD) but is currently free to play with a PlayStation Plus Extra membership.

Stray is a new “fish out of water” story about a stray cat that is separated from its family. It falls into a lost city with minimal power, resources, and a different way of life.

When initially exploring the city, there appears to be nothing around. But soon, you discover robots populate the city.

Certain areas of the city are infested by small critters called Zurks. This puts an immediate, unexpected, and intriguing twist on the game.

Throughout this amazing story, you are accompanied by a small robot you revive called B-12.

B-12 is a friendly and very helpful companion who can do things like translate the city’s foreign language, store items in its inventory, and guide you through the game.

The game is filled with puzzles and objectives that really make you think. This adds a certain challenge to the game, which makes completing missions far more rewarding.

Stray also has a wide range of achievements that you might not expect. Such as this achievement called “No more lives,” unlocked after dying nine times.

The game has numerous areas to explore outside of the main objective, with heaps of collectibles to obtain.

There are a total of 27 “memories” to collect throughout the game’s twelve chapters. These are memories that your companion B-12 rediscovers after being resurrected.

These are often hidden around corners, on top of buildings, or in certain rooms. They also sometimes require puzzles to be solved to get to.

This is great for completionists, giving the game a bit more depth and something extra to work towards.

The game has an average run time of five to six hours. It may take a little longer if you decide to grab all of the collectibles.

This extra time was great because I did nothing but enjoy this game from start to end. There are also missions where stealth is key and missions where you can run around and be as destructive as you want.

So no matter what gameplay style you prefer, you’ll most likely enjoy this game.

Overall this game is wholesome, heartwarming, adventurous, and thrilling.

I would highly recommend giving this game a chance, as it is a great game to play when you feel like just chilling out and playing a solo story that you can genuinely enjoy.

Thank you for reading my story. I wish you a prosperous life.
