Finally, I Read and Heard Interesting Rumors About Grand Theft Auto 6.
It is an exciting piece of news for the fans of GTA 5.
I remember reading many reviews in 2013 when Grand Theft Auto 5 was released on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The game has been sensational.
After a decade, we are getting some rumors about the next game from the same company. Let me briefly share my findings as these rumors excite me and many gamers on the media.
As mentioned in my previous stories, Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) is an action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games.
The gameplay follows three characters in their criminal lifestyle with a very compelling story.
GTA 5 also features an online mode that is constantly updated with new content.
Even though GTA 5 was released back in 2013, Rockstar Games has constantly been pushing out new content for the online aspect of the game.
I sense that they have been milking the hell out of this game for almost ten years now. For example, it was redesigned for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles and remastered again for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
GTA fans were getting kinda sick of the same game being re-released over and over again. So you can imagine the excitement when new rumors were released about the next game, Grand Theft Auto 6.
According to a report from Bloomberg, GTA 6 has “loose schedules in place” for the release date. Allegedly, the game will be released sometime in 2024 if we are being optimistic.
Bloomberg specifically stated they expect the release to be “at least two years away.” According to Bloomberg, “GTA 6 has been in development since 2014, just a year after GTA 5 was released. Earlier this year, Rockstar Games announced GTA 6 is well underway.”
Even though Rockstar Games has not confirmed rumors, there’s still been many speculations from online communities. One of the main speculations is that GTA 6 will return to Vice City.
In addition, more cities are expected to be added after the game's release during a content update. This means we could potentially see multiple GTA cities in the same game.
This has excited many GTA fans, including myself. If it’s true, I just can’t wait to drive around Vice City and San Andreas in the same game.
Bloomberg article mentions that “GTA 6 will feature its first female playable protagonist.”
Not much is known about the character yet. However, we believe that she will be Latina, with at least two playable characters.
Allegedly, the story will follow this female protagonist and a male protagonist in a story heavily influenced by Bonnie & Clyde.
I don’t know about you, but if this is true, I cannot wait to see how they structure this story and possibly connect it to other GTA storylines.
After a 2013 release and almost ten years of waiting, we might finally have someone on the GTA 5 sequel.
Thanks to an article on Bloomberg, GTA fans have learned alleged news on Rockstar Games’ upcoming GTA game.
We learned the possible setting, storyline, and release date of the highly anticipated game, GTA 6.
