Meet Sneha Bhimrao Nagre
A new writer on Medium and a medical student studying Ayurvedic medicine in India

Sneha was born into a small, middle-class family in India, being the first child and a source of immense joy for her parents.
Her name, Sneha, meaning love, reflected the happiness she brought to her family. In India, the birth of a girl is often seen as the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi, symbolizing wealth and fortune. Sneha’s parents believed that she brought prosperity into their lives.
Despite their middle-class status, Sneha’s parents ensured she received the best education in town. From a young age, Sneha was eager to learn and developed hobbies like dancing and reading.
Reading books sparked an interest in sharing knowledge through writing, leading her to write small articles during high school.
Tragedy struck when Sneha’s father passed away during her high school years due to a heart attack. This loss strengthened her resolve to become a doctor in Ayurveda medicine. Taking on family responsibilities as the oldest, she pursued her degree, supported by her housewife mother.
Driven by her passion for health, Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, pranayama, and meditation, Sneha immersed herself in learning.
She extensively studied books and samhita, sharing her knowledge through articles. Seeking a broader platform, she joined Medium. Her mentor, Dr Mehmet Yildiz provides valuable guidance for Sneha to build her audience in this diverse platform.
Sneha’s future goal is to attain a PhD in Ayurveda and yoga. She aspires to write books that encompass the knowledge she gains, aiming to be recognized among the topmost holistic health writers in India.
Her journey is a testament to her resilience, passion for learning, and determination to positively impact readers.
