Sridhar is a seasoned professional passionate about unraveling the intricacies of human dynamics amid the vast technology landscape.
Trained as an engineer, he discovered early on that the allure of humanity surpasses the fascination of the machines Sridhar helped create.
Opting for a career in technology marketing, he later worked on product management, becoming the vital bridge between left and right-brained people.
With an impressive track record of 25 years working with startups, his journey encompasses roles as a startup consultant, M&A specialist, strategy advisor, and analyst.
He boasts the founding or co-founding of three startups and an extensive portfolio of over 200 client companies, predominantly in the tech sector and spanning six countries.
Currently, Sridhar channels his wealth of experience as a full-time coach to founders, creating digital courses and mentoring entrepreneurs.
He also shares knowledge as a visiting faculty member at TAPMI, a prestigious management school. In the literary realm, he has authored two fiction books and co-authored a book on Digital Transformations titled “I Can Coach.”
But why startups? And why now?
For Sridhar, the pivotal moment arrived during his time in the U.S. as a graduate student. Recognizing that a nation’s progress hinges on the wealth generated by its businesses, he was convinced that startups, with their potential for non-linear growth, held the key.
The epiphany deepened when a 40-member product company specializing in embedded software was acquired for a staggering $200 million by a Wall Street giant. From that day forward, his mission became clear: to contribute to creating startups and fostering a product nation.
As India sets its sights on becoming a $7 trillion economy by 2030, Sridhar envisions the need for many entrepreneurs to build scores of product businesses.
These entrepreneurs require insights for global product planning, vision for team-building, skills for capital raising, and the confidence to execute.
His philosophy on writing reflects his belief that life is an expression of joy, manifesting in various forms such as art, sports, writing, music, or even silence.
According to Sridhar, effortless expression facilitates a deeper connection, leading to a magical state of bliss. For him, daily writing is a pathway to experiencing this ‘flow state’ — a fortunate glimpse into a state of complete joy. His motto is “Find Your Gift. Then Give It Away.”
