In this post, we introduce Surekha Chandrasekhar, an inspiring writer and a new editor of Illumination Integrated publications on Medium.
These significant publications include ILLUMINATION, ILLUMINATION-Curated, ILLUMINATION’ S MIRROR, ILLUMINATION Book Chapters, Technology Hits, SYNERGY, Readers Hope, Illumination Videos and Podcasts, Illumination Gaming, Lampshade of Illumination, and ILLUMINATION’s Blog. Hailing from the beautiful land of Kerala and currently residing in Pune with her husband and two children, Surekha has an impressive background in Electronics Science and Education, having worked as a teacher for five years before dedicating herself to family responsibilities.
But her educational background is just the beginning of her incredible journey. Surekha’s true passion lies in empowering rural women in India and other countries.
Through counseling, she strives to help women overcome relationship challenges and find their strength. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, she’s also a hobbyist photographer and a food enthusiast with a deep love for cooking.
She even turned her grandmother’s classic coconut cuisine into a book, “The Tastes Of Classic Coconut Cuisine,” which she self-published on Amazon.
Nature, music, and movies captivate her heart, and she has a penchant for traditional Indian clothes, often exploring sarees from various weavers in the country.
Embracing the spirit of Zen and practicing Kaizen as an uplifting spiritual practice, she also cherishes her extensive collection of books in her home library. We noticed that, in addition to her high IQ, she has high emotional, social, and spiritual intelligence.
Starting her day with inspiration and meditation, she devotes time to reading Medium blogs. It was on April 6th, 2023, that she began her journey as a writer on Medium.
With the support of her friend, Prahalad Rajkumar , a top writer on Medium, she submitted her first blog.
After joining the esteemed Illumination community, Surekha connected with Dr Mehmet Yildiz, chief editor and owner of the Illumination Integrated publications on Medium, who warmly welcomed her and helped publish her debut blog on Illumination.
Impressing community members with her dedication and talent, Surekha was invited by Dr. Yildiz to join his editorial team.
Graciously accepting the offer, she now serves as a volunteer editor for Illumination Integrated publications.
With a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude, she reviews submissions, provides valuable feedback to writers, and ensures timely publication.
Illumination’s core values of diversity, inclusion, collaboration, synergy, and serendipity resonate well with Surekha. She found herself in the middle of a supportive and joyful community that she cherishes.
Since her time on Medium, Surekha has gained a devoted following, captivating her audience with meaningful engagement and insightful content.
