Editorial Bio of Aiden (Illumination Gaming)
Aiden is a prolific writer and an editor at Illumination Integrated Publications on Medium.

In this post, we introduce Aiden (Illumination Gaming), a blogger, writer, and editor on Medium, hailing from the vibrant city of Melbourne, Australia. He volunteered to be an editor of Illumination Integrated Publications on Medium.

Aiden’s journey into the world of blogging and writing began after high school when he pursued his tertiary studies in filmmaking, digital media, design, technology, and photography.
Alongside, he ventured into freelance photography and cinematography, capturing the essence of car shows and community events in Victoria. He works full-time as a media consultant in Australia.
Around 20 months ago, Aiden discovered Medium through an invitation by Dr Mehmet Yildiz, chief editor of ILLUMINATION Integrated Publication. Aiden’s supervisor is a friend of Dr. Yildiz and asked him to be Aiden’s mentor for writing and editing, as his supervisor believes he has the potential to grow in these areas.
Seeing it as a golden opportunity to enhance his writing skills while delving into his passions, like gaming, design, movies, and technology, Aiden began writing on this exciting platform.
He posted his first article in January 2022, and he volunteered to support ILLUMINATION publications in his free time for various roles.
Aiden upholds the principle of thorough research, ensuring the accuracy of every piece he creates. Integrity is paramount to Aiden, both in how he presents himself and how he portrays others. Building trust with his readers is a cornerstone of his work.
He refrains from tackling controversial subjects outside his realm of expertise, preferring to connect with his audience through relatable topics. Aiden’s commitment extends to his engagement with readers, responding promptly to their comments.
He writes articles in his field covering gaming, film-making, social media, and design. Aiden is also a YouTuber and supports the Illumination YouTube channel as a coordinator and contributor.
He created numerous educative and inspiring videos and introduced some top writers via YouTube videos.
Gaming has always held a special place in Aiden’s heart, a passion he’s nurtured since childhood. Whether gaming solo, online, or with friends, it’s a hobby that continues to bring him joy.
Photography is another avenue of creative expression for Aiden, with a focus on capturing the sleek lines of cars at shows and occasionally experimenting with portraits, often featuring his friends.
Joining ILLUMINATION as an editor was a deliberate choice for Aiden, seeking a community that shares his values and a platform to evolve as a writer. He aspires not only to enhance his own skills but also to enrich the lives of those who engage with his work.
Aiden also owns two publications. One for video gamers and another for YouTubers and Podcasters. Here are invitations to his publications.
Aiden has a new website to share his content for free and promote stories of writers contributing to his publications on Medium.
He also has a Substack newsletter. He always contributes to Vocal Media, motivates writers to re-purpose their content on Vocal, and informs writers about new challenges like this recent one.
Aiden shares his knowledge and research generously. He recently introduced a new email marketing system called Cliqly and made a YouTube video about it, educating and inspiring writers to benefit from this money-making opportunity.
As a prolific writer, Aiden wrote around 650 articles and left around 2400 comments to support fellow writers within the ILLUMINATION Integrated publications as an avid reader.
He became a top writer in reading, gaming, social media, movies, and virtual reality. Currently, he is the #1 recommended writer in #virutalreality topic on Medium.
One of his greatest contributions is to redesign writer bios and reduce a 60-minute size collection to 10 minutes to make it more readable and sharable. You can find his new collection in the attached link.
He suggests that every writer should have a bio even though he hasn’t written one, as he thinks it is the most difficult story for him to write.
By writing great stories and engaging meaningfully with others, he gained over 4,000 followers and many subscribers. He documented great success after the first August when Medium made some good changes to the system.
