Dear Writers and Readers,
In this post, we introduce one of our new and young editors Abraham Bamidele who volunteered to contribute to our publications and showed interest in improving his editing and publishing skills while supporting other writers contributing to our publications on Medium.
Our publications include ILLUMINATION, ILLUMINATION-Curated, ILLUMINATION’ S MIRROR, ILLUMINATION Book Chapters, Technology Hits, SYNERGY, Readers Hope, Illumination Videos and Podcasts, Illumination Gaming, Lampshade of Illumination, and ILLUMINATION’s Blog. As a media student, Abraham focuses on self-improvement, curiosity, and a relentless hunger for learning, research, and writing. Abraham is a new writer on Medium, but he is not new to writing.
His affinity for writing began to bloom during his high school years, where he excelled academically and served as the library Prefect.
His involvement in the Press Club saw him engaging in spirited debates, setting the stage for his future in journalism.
Stepping into university life, Abraham’s interests flourished, encompassing presentations, interviewing, transcribing, and a deep-rooted passion for news writing and reporting.
His dedication led him to contribute articles to the University Press, a journey paved with hard work, consistency, and an unyielding drive for improvement.
As his skills matured, Abraham ascended from writer to Editor, collaborating with distinguished academics and the Vice Chancellor to refine articles for publication.
His blog posts became a canvas for exploratory research and insightful pieces, touching on personal experiences, time management, media skills, and other self-improvement topics.
Beyond the written word, Abraham embraced the visual arts as a photographer for the University’s Media Team, capturing the essence of prestigious events.
His presence extended to the airwaves as an On-Air Personality, hosting the radio show “Footie Review” on the University’s Community Radio and engaging with a broad audience on various topics.
In the digital sphere, Abraham’s Spotify podcast has become a beacon of guidance, offering advice and solutions to fellow students navigating the complexities of academic life.
His passion for research shines through in his meticulous approach to Media Content Analysis and academic questionnaires, adding another layer to his multifaceted journey.
Joining ILLUMINATION publications marked a significant chapter for Abraham, a young writer, and editor eager to learn and grow while supporting others and giving back to the community in his free time.
Writing and editing is an opportunity that has exposed him to brilliant minds and expansive experiences. His special recognition goes to his mentor Dr Mehmet Yildiz, whose support has been a transformative force viewed by Abraham as an invaluable investment in his development.
As he continues to carve his path, he remains grateful for the investment made in him and cherishes the role ILLUMINATION has played in his exciting voyage.
He is currently supporting our Videos/Podcasts publication led by Aiden (Illumination Gaming) and other publications like Technology Hits, Readers Hope, and the Lampshade of Illumination.
