Meet Jozsef Kovacs

Jozsef Kovacs is a seasoned IT professional with over 25 years of diverse experience in the industry. With a background in Computer Engineering, System Modelling, and Architecture, he earned a Master’s degree in Informatics Education.
Jozsef has honed his expertise across various domains, including banking, energy trading, algorithmic trading, and agile project management.
His career has spanned eight European countries (Hungary, Estonia, Cyprus, Ukraine, Ireland, Serbia, Austria, and Turkey), where he has successfully executed numerous projects, from re-engineering banking systems to managing core system replacements for international banks.
For example, in cooperation with the 15 system analysts, he has successfully re-engineered a standard package to process high volumes of data (millions of accounts) and transaction throughput (10 million plus per month) — design and development of the Euro Conversion Project of OTP Bank, Hungary.
Jozsef self-designed and developed the successful Digi2Real iOS application in the Hungarian market, and he served as a project-based Product Line Manager in diverse international and domestic IT projects across various energy industry fields.
Transitioning to a new chapter in life, Jozsef is now venturing into the world of writing, a passion he has longed to pursue amidst his professional and personal commitments.
Being an enthusiastic reader has fueled his desire to translate his rich experiences, thoughts, and emotions into captivating written narratives.
Through his writings, Jozsef integrates his leadership experiences, love for travel and photography, and dedication to yoga and meditation, offering a unique blend of introspective insights, lifestyle topics, and authentic storytelling.
