My Journey on Medium

Updated and revised to reflect new data Dec 29 2017.

Here are my 110+ most-recommended stories and responses in descending order since I began writing on Medium around 1 March 2016:

Here is an also-ran that makes me smile when I re-read it:

Dear Reader,

I have opened my venal streams of consciousness and spattered my bloody free radicals into yours.

Thanks for opening the door and letting me in.

You writers have shown me how.

Even today, I have read two articles that have moved me deeply.

I have withdrawn from all but the absolutely most neccessary societal duties during the last four months. I have read and written for ten hours every day during this time and delved deeply into the surging sea of emotions that is Medium.

My stats tell me that I have written 2314 stories, including “responses”. I have 225 drafts and 63 unlisted stories. These big numbers are not what I had in mind that fateful day in March when I perused my darling Californian step-daughter’s repost of talia jane’s viral article.

I have changed during these months.

Something has happened inside of me.

This is what I was born to do.

Thank you.

Happy New Year in 2017

Thank you for reading this far. I deeply appreciate your time and attention.

I rather like the statistics tab on Medium and recommends aren’t always the best measure of value.
