Open Letter to the Devil Dog

It’s okay to be tired and sad.
Let the sadness wash over you.
Be still in all your body and receive the angels that I am sending to you, in this your time of trial. The angels are in the balloons.
Turn your gaze within for there lie the answers to all your questions. And if you find not the answer within, you will surely find the question; illuminated.
For far across the sea in a narrow white room a heart is beating with a wish for you to be well, to be happy and rested.
The heart of a stranger, but a stranger who is very grateful for your praise and your kind words of encouragement.
That was all she ever wanted, to be heard.
You heard her and acknowledged her pain and her longings.
I am grateful to you for taking the time to see me, the real me that I dare, for the first time in my life, to expose, to strangers, in words.
Thank you for receiving me well.
