Dear Ryanair — I just want to change my flight date from July 4 2016 to June 15 2017
Author’s update, 1 December 2016: October has come and gone with no word from Ryanair or Timothy D. Armour at Capital Group.
So my brother’s hard-earned 400 euros flow directly into Ryanair Michael O’Leary’s bottom line.
Niiiiice.
Michael O’Leary is CEO of Ryanair.
Michael thinks that cyclists should be shot.
Now that’s what I call easy money.
You call it ancilliary revenue.
Now you know that neither my brother nor his 12-year old daughter will show for the flight so you can resell the tickets @ 500 euros a pop. Niiiice for your bottom line.
You give the clear impression on your website that tickets can be changed. And they can — but for a fee greater than the cost of the original ticket. (Flight change fee 750 euros, Original flight cost ca 400 euros)
As a passenger, I lose all my money. Do you, Michael O’Leary, have any idea how hard you have to work as a farmer in rural Ireland to make 500 euros?
Do you know what time my brother gets up in the morning?
The Irish climate is wet. Especially in the southwest where my brother lives.
He has sloshed through freezing mud all winter to be able to afford a holiday in Scandinavia so his daughter can visit her cousins.
I would have been happy just to change the dates. We both know you overbook anyway. And the flight is already sold out.

I don’t know what my chances of getting out are.
You have no local number so I am calling a number in England. I have no way of knowing where I am in the queue.
Fix the bug on your web site that keeps bringing me back to booking, booking, booking when all I want to do is change, change, change.
