Dear new contributors,
Greetings. I am Editor of Technology Hits. I am relatively new to Medium but learning quickly as my editorial duties help me improve a lot. I was away for a while due to some health issues but recovered and return with enthusiasm.
Our lead editor Dr Mehmet Yildiz asked me to create the onboarding packs welcoming new writers like you. He does the leg work for us. Like all our editors, I am also a volunteer helping ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications to grow.
Today I am so excited that I allocated my whole Sunday to compile this onboarding pack. Finding information on Medium is not an easy task, especially for new members. So I provided links to all essential resources so that you can contribute to our pubs easily.
A few of our editors, including the senior editor of ILLUMINATION, is unwell. At least our senior editor ILLUMINATION-Curated is active as he lost a lot of fat recently and is over the moon. We envy his rigour. He is busy curating articles and distributing them to our subscribers. Most of us occupied with clearing the queues flooded with hundreds of articles each day.
My latest contribution is to compile all writer biographies and publish them in a story. Our readers love writer bios, so we recommend each writer submit a bio ASAP. Here is the six reasons why every writer needs to create a bio on Medium.

The purpose of this onboarding pack is to notify new writers who have joined our publications ILLUMINATION, ILLUMINATION-Curated, ILLUMINATION Book chapters, Technology Hits, SYNERGY, and ILLUMINATION’S MIRROR and get you started with essential information. You will see some of these publications in your account. If you don’t want to be part of a specific publication, you can simply remove your account.
ILLUMINATION Integrated publications operate on the Medium platform. Thus, we adhere to the rules and policies of this platform. All contributors need to comply with the platform rules.
Now and then, some glitches occur while adding accounts to publications. So, if your account is not added to the requested publications, please comment on this post. You can also contact our editors on our Slack to add your account again. There is also a channel on Slack. You can leave a message with your Medium ID on the channel #writerstobeadded on Slack. Dr Yildiz and other editors on Slack can help you. All editors are members of the ILLUMINATION Global Slack workspace.
We created publication guidelines for contributors. Please check them before submitting your stories. We serve both experienced and new writers.
If you submit well-cited and copyright-free images, your stories can be published much faster. Thus please check the image handling policies in this story.
ILLUMINATION Integrated publications don’t accept plagiarized content. We remove plagiarists from our publications. Offenders can also face penalties from Medium and legal entities.

To cover our growing workload, we created a mirror of ILLUMINATION. It is an independent publication called ILLUMINATION’S MIRROR. The purpose is to cater requirements of prolific writers who plan to submit multiple stories a day.
If you are submitting only one article a day, you don’t need ILLUMINATION’s MIRROR unless you want to reach out to a different audience. So you can submit your additional stories to ILLUMINATION’S MIRROR. This pub also serves as a backup publication in case we have an outage for ILLUMINATION.
