You are now contributors of some of the ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications supporting around 11,500 writers on Medium. Detailed information about our pubs is in our new roadmap for ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications.
This post aims to inform new writers who have joined our publications ILLUMINATION, ILLUMINATION-Curated, ILLUMINATION Book chapters, Technology Hits, SYNERGY, and ILLUMINATION’S MIRROR.
These publications run on the Medium platform. This means that contributors need to adhere to the rules and policies of this platform. All contributors must to comply with the platform rules.
As we experience occasional glitches, if your account is not added to the requested publications, please comment on this post. Please contact our editors on our Slack to add your account again. You may leave a message with your Medium ID on the channel #writerstobeadded on Slack. Dr Mehmet Yildiz and several editors on Slack might help you.
You will receive an invitation to our Slack workspace via an email. If you don’t receive the Slack invitation from Dr Yildiz, please leave a message on this story or apply again via the web form.
Joining Slack workspace is optional and free. Networking on Slack might help you build meaningful relationships with other writers and our volunteer editors. Slack is our central communication and collaboration platform. Our Slack workspace has 8,965 members currently without including this group.
We recommend reviewing publication guidelines before submitting your stories. Many writers at all level contribute. Our publications are not very different from others, we all follow Medium rules. However, we are not too fussy about style.
One of the key points is handling story photos. If you submit well-cited and copyright-free photos, your stories can be published faster. You can find our image policy helpful: the image handling policies.
We reject plagiarized content. If a writer attempt plagiarism, we remove account and stories from our publications. Plagiarists can face penalties from Medium and legal entities.
You are welcome to participate in writing challenges. These writing tools are helpful to get you started and gain more readers. Here is a 100-day writing challenge. We have a writing prompt tool. The aim of this prompt is to increase your readers, views, and reading times. Another writing challenge is called 1,000 Short Posts in 100 Days for prolific writers. Its purpose is to introduce you to more readers.

“1 — Published authors can gain new readers via their repurposed book chapters. They can also earn income from their published content on Medium.
2 — Published authors can gain new followers and beta readers who can provide feedback for their new manuscripts.
3 — Aspiring writers can gain by creating manuscripts derived from their published stories. They can transfer them into the ILLUMINATION Book Chapters, obtain reader reviews, and publish them as books later.”

Onboarding Pack for New Writers
Please note that our publications support various levels of writers, including aspiring, experienced, accomplished, and influential. All type of writers are important for us. We don’t distriminate. We help writer to cross-pollinate to get the best out of our pubs and the associated writing and reading community. Contributors come from different professional backgrounds, skill levels, and expertise. It depics a rich community spirit.
As our contributing writers, you are not exclusive to our pubs. You can publish in any publication you want to. It is up to you to remove your articles when you need. You can alos leave our publications with no permission. Everything we recommend to our contributors is by invitation. The only oblication is to follow Medium rules.
