Mass Production for the Tesla Cybertruck Is Scheduled for Late 2023
A cyberpunk future is closer than we think
Ever since the announcement of the Tesla Cybertruck in 2019, EV (electric vehicle) fans like myself have been patiently waiting for its release since It’s unlike any car we’ve ever seen before.
A report from Reuters stated that the Tesla Cybertruck should begin mass production at the end of next year, with the first models shipped in early 2024.
If you don’t know much about the Tesla Cybertruck, here’s a brief introduction.
According to Tesla’s website, the top-tier variant of the Cybertruck will have 500 miles of range with a 0–60 time of 2.9 seconds.
Also, keep in mind that this unique pickup truck is meant to be an all-terrain vehicle that can somehow get itself from 0–60 in under 3 seconds. That’s faster than some high-end sports cars.
Additionally, it is just as capable as a pickup truck, with a payload capacity of 3,500lbs (1.6 metric tonnes), 100 cubic feet of space in the back, as well as its ability to tow over 14,000lbs (6.35 metric tonnes).
The Tesla Cybertruck’s unique design is die-cast from Ultra-Hard 30x cold-rolled stainless steel, which ensures a very high level of protection and durability.
This design is what has EV fans like myself eager to see this stunning vehicle on the road as soon as possible.
Even though I'm not in a position to buy a vehicle like this currently, I still can’t wait to see it roaming the streets with its cyberpunk aesthetic.
