Check Out Samsung's Newest One UI 5
A few iOS inspired features but one unique extra feature.

Just over a month ago, Apple released the iOS 16 update, which included a few interesting features which aren't present on Samsung phones.
But now it seems that Samsung has borrowed a few of the iOS 16 features and is implementing them into the next One UI version.
The design of some of the new additions does seem very similar to the iOS 16 version, but that's not really much to complain about as long as it works well and looks good.
Here are some of the new features coming with Samsung One UI 5.
1 — Routines
Routines allow you to set profiles for certain activities, for example, work mode. This will allow you to limit access to what your phone offers so that you can focus on what you’re meant to be doing.
This is very similar to iOS 16s Focus mode. You can even customize things like which contacts can pass through, as well as set the dark or light modes in different routines.
2 — Copy & Paste Text From Images
If you’re ever in a situation in which you capture a photo of a phone number or weblink, you can now simply copy text straight from the image instead of having to memorize it while switching apps.
3 — Additional Homescreen Customisation
One UI 5 offers various different customization options for your home screen. This includes video wallpapers, clock styles, and notification pop-ups.
4 — Stacked Widgets
With One UI 5, you can now stack widgets of the same size on top of one another. This can really help to declutter your home screen from all the different widgets you might use.
You can simply swipe between whichever widget you want to see.
5 — Bixby Text To Call
Bixby text-to-call is the unique extra feature coming with One UI 5 and is an extension of text-to-speech. This feature allows users to interact during a phone call with text instead of talking.
Your messages will be converted to sounds and be played back to whoever you’re on the phone with.
Additionally, their speech will be converted to text for you to read. This feature is apparently intended to be used in environments that wouldn't benefit from a traditional phone call, such as concerts and other loud venues.
I can’t really see how this is any better than just texting, but I guess we’ll have to see when this update is released.
The Samsung One UI 5 beta is currently available, but I do not recommend downloading it on your daily used phone since it’s not entirely stable as of yet.
There is no set release date for this update, but many people believe it will either be released later this year or at the beginning of next year in the US.

Writing and Editing Update
Yesterday, I wrote about my stats on Medium. While my gaming article receives great views from external sources, they get very few views from Medium members.
Here is the story if you are interested in my thoughts and feelings as a writer on Medium.
I also put a few links that might have new writers to gain followers and learn from the experiences of other writers. I wish you the best in your writing career.
Top writer badges might be valuable for new writers in some topics, even though gaming and social media did not bring me, new readers. I posted a video using the ideas of Dr. Yildiz and hope new writers can learn from this video or related article.
I enjoy posting a story each day. I will continue by posting one each day this month. Please feel free to join this writing challenge. I’d love to read your stories on this initiative.
Recently, I recorded and posted a video to share my progress in writing and gaming publications. If you are interested, you might watch the short video.
