Here’s Some New Information Regarding Overwatch 2 Passive Abilities.
Gaming News

Recently, Blizzard posted some information regarding some changes that will be coming to the Overwatch 2 online experience.
Specifically, this is in reference to various passive abilities for each class of hero, which weren't present during the beta period.
One of the passive abilities which were present during the beta period was damage heroes retaining 30% of their ultimate ability when switching heroes.
Blizzard stated in a blog post that damage heroes will now benefit from a new passive ability that will speed up player movement and reload speed immediately after they get an elimination.
“We’re introducing a new passive to DPS that increases their movement speed and reload speed by 25% for a brief window after getting an elimination.”
“We believe that this change is the right balance of rewarding players who perform well in the Damage role without being overpowered. However, in future seasons, we may continue to experiment with what these passives do as we look to shake up the meta regularly.”
Here are some changes being made to other heroes on the roster:
Orisa’s base health and armor will be slightly reduced.
Baptiste’s Biotic Launcher primary fire damage will be getting a slight buff.
D.Va’s Boosters impact damage rate will be more than doubled.
Bastion’s Ironclad passive will be re-enabled.
Blizzard also mentioned that during the first 9-week season, they would introduce new maps, heroes, game modes, and other exciting additions for players to enjoy.
Blizzard has also confirmed that the 2nd of October will be the day the original Overwatch servers shut down and will be converted to Overwatch 2.
