Check Out This Interesting Addon for the Xbox Series S
I've just found out about a really cool device for your Xbox Series S console.
This device is called the xScreen, and is essentially a portable monitor which can be easily attached to your Series S.
It kind of turns your Series S into a chunky laptop form factor. It can be seamlessly attached and can be folded down when not in use, much like a traditional laptop.
This device even maintains the same design characteristics as the Xbox Series S with the white finish and the hole-punched vents on the side.
The device simply attaches to the rear of the console and connects to the HDMI port without any additional cables.
It features a 1080p, 11.6" IPS display with a 60hz refresh rate.
When the screen is folded down, the xScreen sends a shutdown command to the Series S via the HDMI port in order to protect the Xbox and the xScreen, which I found really interesting and useful.
This device even comes with custom crosshairs built into the screen featuring four different variants in two colors.
Aside from these cool features, the only downside is the display doesn't provide the Xbox with any power as it doesn't have a built-in battery, which means the Xbox must always be plugged in order to play. But honestly, I didn't really expect it to with its surprisingly slim form factor.
If I had an Xbox Series S, this device would be a no-brainer whenever I went on a holiday and wanted to keep playing Halo or Forza.
Fortunately, the xScreen is currently on sale and can be purchased on the UPspec Gaming website.
