I Just Created My First Video On TikTok
Many more are coming soon to inform and entertain my readers.
In a recent post, I spoke about my plan to use TikTok to grow as a writer and a blogger. I believe it might bring some benefits to my posts on this platform.
Recently, my internal views have been very low here, even though I earned three top-writer badges. Some readers suggested using TikTok, considering my experience on YouTube.

This first video isn't much to be congratulated about since I just introduced myself and very briefly mentioned what content is to come in the near future.
Some of the points I talked about in my recent post turned out to be very accurate. After only a few hours of posting the video, I was up to over 100 views and had ten likes.
I know it’s not much, but considering I only created the account a couple of days ago and haven't used it since, it’s pretty incredible how many people it’s already reached.
If I had posted the same video to YouTube, I probably would have only around 7 or 8 views right now. TikTok’s discoverability is just insane.
Within the next couple of days and coming weeks, I plan to regularly create TikTok’s relating to a recent article of mine.
Here’s a link to the first video. For some reason, I couldn’t embed the Tiktok video like YouTube videos. Maybe Medium needs to create a unique frame for TikTok videos.
In the very short videos, I will briefly mention a few main points I talked about in my article while showing of relevant images, such as a blog post from the developers or screenshots of the game.
I will then direct my viewers to my bio, which includes a link to both my Medium profile and my publication.
Within the next couple of weeks, I will post an update detailing how my progress on the platform is going. Hopefully, I will have a bit more views by then.
I would really appreciate it if you gave me a follow on TikTok. I plan to inform and entertain my readers, especially in gaming, technology, design, and social media topics.

Writing and Editing Update
Recently, I wrote about my stats on Medium. While my gaming article receives great views from external sources, they get very few views from Medium members.

Top writer badges might be valuable for new writers in some topics, even though gaming and social media did not bring me, new readers. I posted a video using the ideas of Dr. Yildiz and hope new writers can learn from this video or related article.
