No Foldable iPhone, But Maybe A Foldable iPad
Tech News

After Samsung's success with their foldable phones consisting of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, many iPhone users have been wondering if Apple is ever going to make a foldable iPhone.
Well, according to a report from analyst firm CCS Insights, Apple may never release a foldable iPhone. Ben Wood, the chief of research at CCS Insights, stated the following.
“A folding iPhone will be super high risk for Apple. It would have to be incredibly expensive in order to not cannibalize the existing iPhones.”
In order to avoid competition with the current range of iPhones, Wood states that a foldable iPhone may have to be priced around $2,500 if it were ever released.
Although he did mention that it is significantly more likely that Apple will incorporate foldable display technology into their iPads, which could potentially be released sometime in 2024.
Insider information suggests that Apple is working on a 20-inch foldable display. This could potentially be used in a laptop-like format with a virtual capacitive keyboard. When fully unfolded, it could be around the size of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
Although I’m sad to learn Apple may never make a foldable iPhone, I am excited to see how a foldable iPad might look and function. It seems only time will tell. I believe it might be great for gamers.

Writing and Editing Update
Recently, I wrote about my stats on Medium. While my gaming article receives great views from external sources, they get very few views from Medium members.

Top writer badges might be valuable for new writers in some topics, even though gaming and social media did not bring me, new readers. I posted a video using the ideas of Dr. Yildiz and hope new writers can learn from this video or related article.
