Meet Nuno Campos
A new editor of Illumination Integration Publications on Medium
Dear Subscribers,
In this post, we introduce Nuno Campos, a top writer and new editor of Illumination Integration Publications on Medium. Nuno reviews many stories submitted to our publications, provides feedback to writers and publishes them timely.
Nuno has a solid technical and technology background. He is Head of Systems Administration in a Hotel group. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Universidade of Algarve, completed in 2004.
For the last 18 years, Nuno and his team have been the backbones of their organization, managing all information technology systems and networks to guarantee quality for end-users and empowering them with the tools and resources they need and deserve.
So, like most system administrators, he’s too familiar with the 2 A.M. call to “come in and fix things” when the systems “mysteriously” go down.
During this time, he also provided technical consultancy and other IT services, like website building, to various organizations.
Resiliency is one of Nuno’s most essential qualities, and writing is helping him build resilience by providing a space to reflect on his experiences, challenges, and successes.
Through writing, he tries to develop a greater sense of self-awareness and learn how to better cope with stress and adversity, increasing his productivity.
Nuno’s passion for computers started early in his life. At the age of 8, he was already trying to program in his Timex 48k. That psychedelic sound of the tapes loading games brings lots of nostalgia to him.
His hero is Kevin Mitnick, The Condor, a genius and one of the most famous hackers in history. His favorite book is ‘A Ghost in the Wires’.
Nuno lives in sunny Algarve, south of Portugal, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, with his wife and 14 years old son. He loves to go out with his family, go to the beach, play PS5 with his son, read tech news, watch (and play) football (soccer in the USA), and also watch Netflix.
Nuno is addicted to trying new tech devices and new apps and changing everything. That’s why he’s constantly changing his PKM platform and always have new stories and experiences to write about. And he loves to share his new workflows and accomplishments in the app.
Nuno also loves to write about productivity and its impact on our lives. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to the question of how to be productive. He thinks that there are many aspects that are worth considering writing about productivity.
Nuno is grateful for the opportunity to be an editor for Illumination publications and help new writers. With his tech expertise, he’s willing to help his fellow writers and editors with technical issues they might have or advice on any questions they might have about computers or apps.
As a prolific writer, Nuno published many articles on Medium. Thus, we would like to give you a quick taste of his recent stories in our publications.
