Adele Arbi is a passionate writer who uses Medium as a platform to document her life journey. Her articles are personal and insightful, often touching on themes such as career, travel and living abroad, habits, language learning, self-discovery, and faith.
She’s also a passionate reader, an avid language learner (currently focusing on Arabic), and a lover of all things cultural. Adele is also an expat, having moved for work to Stockholm and London from her home country, Albania. Changing countries has given her new ideas and experiences to write about.
Adele is 30 years old and works full-time as a manager in the tech industry. She loves her job and writes only out of passion. She has been blogging about her career and technology since 2018 but joined Medium only in 2023 to share more personal stories.
At its core, Adele’s Medium is a chronicle of self-discovery. She confronts her vulnerabilities, challenges societal norms, and celebrates the messy, beautiful reality of being human. Her journey is a testament to the power of vulnerability and the courage it takes to share our stories with the world.
Adele’s presence on Medium extends beyond her own articles. She actively and meaningfully engages with the community, leaving thoughtful comments, offering encouragement, and sharing recommendations.

New Friends of Medium Subscription for Avid Readers
Our chief editor Dr Mehmet Yildiz, upgraded our publication accounts ILLUMINATION and ILLUMINATION-Curators, as well as his tech account Dr Mehmet Yildiz (Tech), making them Friends of Medium. Reading from these accounts will allow writers to earn four times more. While curating stories, we read many stories from these accounts, so it will be great for writers. Most of our publications, including Illumination, support non-members, but we encourage all writers who can afford the cost to be a member to consider Medium Friendship subscriptions. We interviewed him on how Friends of Medium (FoMs) can share stories to create more visibility and increase reading times, even from non-members. The good news is when non-members read the links from FoMs, they generate income for writers.
Dr Yildiz also upgraded his own accounts to support writers and inspired our readers to upgrade if they can afford it so that our writers can earn more income and write better stories.
