Dear Writers and Readers,
I enjoy personal and professional success by being a pragmatist and striving for excellence. We use this approach in our publication team.
The ILLUMINATION team prioritizes goals and activities and makes progress iteratively. We are not perfectionists. We know that it is not possible to grow and thrive with perfection. Therefore, our focus is on excellence.
Even though we are diverse and tolerant of creativity, we also focus on processes and procedures with rigor.
Orchestrating the creativity of 15,000+ writers requires a structured and methodical approach. When our editors create new ideas, we discuss them, reach a consensus, and design and implement them. Our activities are orchestrated at all times. There is an order behind our madness.
Talking of the processes, I updated our Process and Procedure document for details of our publication. Our submission guidelines and several other useful materials are attached to this story.
We update this document as we keep learning and display it on our front page for easy access. This document can be of particular interest to our new writers and writers who may be interested in joining our publication.
A new challenge for ILLUMINATION writers
I want to propose each writer create a story featuring their best stories. This story, similar to your bios, is expected to showcase your writing capabilities. This story can include around five stories. You may consider even one story with details at a minimum.
However, the maximum is ten articles to make it a readable piece. It will be helpful to use a standard title such as “Best Stories of [Insert Your Name]”. You can choose your preferred subtitle. I plan to compile each story and include them in our promotion pack.
This exercise can create visibility for your profile and stories. If you require further clarification, you can open a discussion thread on our Slack channel, and I will provide my input and guidance.

I aim to create awareness for the high-quality stories so that our new writers can leverage these excellent stories, and model the styles so that they can improve their stories for increasing the chance of curation by Medium curators. ILLUMINATION Slack Channel
We created a writer collaboration platform using Slack. We have 370+ members. I added several writers to our Slack channel today. Thank you for the inquiries and willingness to join our collaboration and innovation lab. New writers are invited to join our Slack to have a chat and collaborate with other inspiring writers.
