Meet Annie Wegner on Medium
A top writer and editor for Illumination Integrated Publications

In this post, we introduce Annie Wegner, a top writer and new editor of Illumination Integrated Publications on Medium.
Annie Wegner is a freelance writer managing several side hustles. She worked on Fiverr, Upwork, and Peopleperhour as a writer and social media manager. She kept her account active on those platforms for over six years serving 100s of clients.
When the pandemic hit, she spent two years working for a few hours per day in a bookstore. Through her work, Annie got exposed to many industries. She shares what she learned in what she publishes.
As a freelancer, Annie has been a writer, social media manager, virtual assistant, and marketer. She has helped clients from ten countries around the world.
Her new pursuit is to create a YouTube channel and experiment with affiliate marketing. Writing has been a long-time passion. She continues to publish here, build connections, and learn about new topics.
Annie devotes an hour of each day to being a life-long learner. She loves reading and watching videos about new concepts. She hopes to travel the world in a few years.
Given her varied interests, she writes in many niches. But most times it is about her learnings about love, relationships, social media, current affairs, and business.
She is a top writer in Love, Relationship, and Social Media.
Annie volunteered to be an editor for the Illumination family of publications. She began with Reader’s Hope and wanted to help more new writers’ voices come to light.
An opening soon came up for Illumination, and she jumped at the shot to be an editor. Annie finds the role fulfilling. She enjoys collaborating with the team. And getting writers’ words out early so they can have the joy of the published notification.
Annie daily reviews several stories submitted to our publications, publishes them timely, and provides valuable feedback to writers.
In addition, as a consulting editor, Annie provides valuable guidance to the editorial team and shares her improvement ideas with our chief editor Dr Mehmet Yildiz generously on our Slack workspace.
Annie loves reading romance novels and business; according to Annie, she tries to maintain a 1–1 ratio in each genre. Annie loves to write by the window. The views and fresh air calm her as she tries to find a flow state.
Her belief is “Everything is Figureoutable” after reading the book by Marie Forleo. She likes to focus on the positive and remains open-minded to new ways of thinking.
