Forza Horizon 5 Is Getting A Huge Content Update For Its 10th Anniversary.

The first ever Forza Horizon game was released in October 2012, which means we are in the month of Horizon's 10th anniversary. Microsoft is celebrating by releasing an anniversary update for Forza Horizon 5, which will include a bunch of new content as well as the new “Horizon Origins Story.” This free update will launch on the 11th of October and start a four-week celebration.
The Horizon Origins story will include five chapters that allow players to relive “iconic gameplay moments” from previous Horizon games.
As a reward for completing the Horizon Origins story, players will receive the 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS Anniversary Edition, which was the cover car of the first Horizon game.
There will also be the addition of the Midnight Battle game mode, which will challenge players to win various street races that will pop up around the map. By winning these races, players will be awarded the following cars:
- 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1
- 1984 Honda Civic CRX Mugen
- 2003 Toyota Celica SS-I
- 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670–4 SV
An all-new permanent radio station will also be added with this update. This new station will feature various songs from previous Horizon games. These new songs can be unlocked by completing accolades from the Horizon Origins story.
Additionally, players can unlock various new items themed around previous Horizon locations, such as Australia. These new items can include:
- Clothing Items
- Outfits
- Emotes
- Car Horns
Best of all, new festival sites will pop up around the Forza Horizon 5 map themed around previous Horizon locations.
Up until now, I was kinda getting bored of Forza Horizon 5, but with this new update, I believe I’ll put quite a few more hours into the game, at least until I unlock all those new cars.
