🌟 What challenge (large or small) are you setting for yourself this week?

Some folks like to set challenges for themselves, with the excitement of working towards a tangible end goal.
Others like the freedom of just beginning and excitement as they adapt to whatever obstacles life throws at them.
I sit at an interesting intersection between the two (and I suspect that most people are somewhere in between). I benefit from set goals for a number of the commitments that I have, from school to work to even side hustles. However, I do love the taste of novelty and unpredictability of just beginning a hobby and seeing where it might take me. It’s a breathtaking balance between the two.
This post is an amalgamation of both. The quote series itself was something I started as a daily habit, where I use the sentence stem “Today, I …” and focus on one set goal. By definition, this feels goal-oriented.
But, the whole idea came to me as a whim, as a new way to keep the concept of setting goals itself flexible to my needs, as I grow into different seasons of life.
So, I’m curious to hear:
Do you have a challenge to set for yourself, whether big or small? Or, if you do not like set challenges that bound you into rules, what might be the reasons, and what other ways do you like to move forward?
