I’m a Lazy Bastard — This Is Factual

Prompt response to ‘What are your writing strengths and struggles?’ by Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她)

Similarly to the original author of this prompt, I tend swim in fresh ideas, but require systems in place to get them rolled out.

The problem for me becomes laziness.

It took a couple of years to build a writing habit, and big part of that progression had to involve doing things willfully as possible. This meant writing about myself and ideas I held closely to heart where other — and often more important — topics were left to simmer.

I’m still quite in that phase now. Maybe it’s my sweet spot, and I have to continue working my way up naturally to reach the desired point.

Someday, I may write about everything under the sun.
