A Trip To Hills
A poem with a twist
I and my husband on our annual trip to the hills away from the city Relishing the evening walks In the woods, on the serpentine paths.
Panting, we reached the summit, As we sat on the rocks for a while, A growl came from far Attentively, we saw around
After a while, We decided to go down the hill Hand in hand we walked Back to our cottage
Unlocking the ground floor, as I proceeded to the first floor alone My husband peeped through his mobile and asked, “Did you go all alone today?” ……..
Thank you, Lucy (the eggcademic) for the challenge. I hope I’ve done justice to it. This is my first time at cliffhangers. 🙈
