DEP November Poetry Round Up and December Prompt 2023
Magic is all around us. There are so many beautiful places in this world and beyond. I find magic in nature, people, and the universe outside and within.
Surrounded by Magic
Opening eyes looking left to right,
Pounding hearts screaming into the night.
Where are you today my magical sight?
Hoping to find that spark within,
Looking inside into the depths of the ocean,
Soaring waves bring me a notion.
No need to look very deep, my dear,
Anywhere you find a loving note,
A sparkling joy, a cherished moment.
All you need to do is see with your heart.
Opening eyes feel with delight.
Magical sparks lead into the night.
Being in the moment within the in-between.
The joyful note comes dancing within.
Here I am. Did you look for me?
No need to look, I am always with you.
No matter where you go, how far you travel.
The magical note from the depths of within,
Always coming sailing to the surface,
Elegant and Shy bringing you light in the depths of darkness,
Sharing love with wiggling laughter.
You can try your hardest to resist the love,
Deny the magic that is within your heart.
You will not succeed my love.
Life is magical, no way to deny it.
Sit back and enjoy the sweet delightful nectar.
Created with love,
by Gabriella

Joyful poetry from Dr. Preeti Singh amongst beautiful mountains.
“I could see the mountains covered with greenery,
The smoky clouds were smiling from a distance,
The coconut tree is rich and fully pregnant with coconuts,
I hid behind it and watched the scenery all around.”
“I understand
Your dreadful choice
To leave our life
On your own terms,
Not waste away
On poisoned time,
Yet hate it still,
Trading your pain
For mine, forever.”
Debbee wrote a beautiful poem about a sunflower and so much more. Lovely poetry.
“Thank you for your presence. Your deep desire to exist and blossom, your bravery and endurance gave all who passed by you a sense of courage and inspiration, to flourish and prosper despite it all.”
Beautiful poetry by Dr. Fatima Imam about love.
“Love changes gloom into bloom.
Love changes negativity into positivity.
Love changes impossible into possible.
Love conquers cynical hearts into submission.”
“A smoky aroma fills the air
Life ebbs from dead wood, as the sun loses glare
A gentle breeze whispers on my hair
Warmth surrounds me, sensing tender care”
“When trying to win what once had power,
we mustn’t see life as a giant tower.
Slow and steady, progress is key,
each hurdle and roadblock will eventually set you free.”
Carolina Smith thank you for answering my call. I enjoyed your gratefulness message.
“Given the chance to dwell in blood and flesh,
to live, love, laugh, play, and learn,
knowing through it all, we get to choose our fate…
For the omnipresent and eternal grace, I’m grateful.”
