Focus on Curation
As more writers are joining our publication, there is a tremendous interest in curation. We have a successful track record for the curation of our articles. I feel privileged to be supported many top writers in multiple categories.
By using our cross-pollination capability, I am committed and determined to help our writers to be curated in their interest areas. Even though curation is subjective on Medium, we can increase the chance by following the guidelines and improving our skills by modelling frequently curated writers.
To this end, I send an invitation to start collecting curated articles of our writers and make them visible to our readers and writers.
This initiative can bring two benefits.
Firstly, curated stories of our writers can have better visibility, more readability, and even get a chance to go viral.
The second benefit is our new writers can easily find our curated stories and connect with the writers. I plan to start a structured mentoring program to prepare our new writers and help them gain experience.
