Shortform Theme of the Week

This week’s shortform theme is: What is your earliest childhood memory?

Such a weird question, right? But, sit there and think — what is your absolute earliest memory? Is it influenced by the way that others around you have told the story? How old were you? What were you doing? Who do you remember?

Submit your shortform piece (<150 words) now to share your thoughts!

This is just a guideline for inspiration! You may submit shortforms related to other concepts if other ideas come to you! :)

Pl🍳t Developments

  • It’s been a WILD WEEK. For those who aren’t caught up, I had to suspend TBIN submissions for a few days because I wasn’t feeling well, and was on quite an adventure (*euphemism) at the hospital just to find out what was going on. The long story short, though, is that I’m slowly feeling better with lots of rest! Submissions are mostly back on track.
  • Lots of drafts are sitting in my Google Drive about this entire experience — from navigating the world of women’s pain and self-advocacy, to learning how to figure life out without a solid diagnosis, etc. etc., lots of stories coming. I learned … a lot.
