MUSERSCRIBE NEWSLETTER — FEBRUARY 2024
Non-Medium members can read this story freely here!
Welcome, Musers, to our February newsletter!❣️
Our Musers of the Month and their submissions are showcased below.
MuserScribe is your space to talk about the people or things that inspire you to put pen to paper.
If the role of the Muse is to bring life and colour to your craft, MuserScribe is the place to talk about it …
Here’s our previous newsletter:
MuserScribe has become Medium’s own haven of prolific and eclectic offerings …❣️
Converting the Muse into Words
Want the opportunity to discuss your Muse? Simply join our band of Musers. Please follow MuserScribe and respond with ‘I’d love to write for MuserScribe!’
★ Don’t forget to leave your @ username!
MuserScribe wants to inspire and be inspired by you …
Suggested Topics
- Write a stand-alone ‘about me’ story talking about the people, places, or events that first inspired you to become a writer;
- Write a story (fiction or non-fiction) then write an introduction talking about the inspiration behind your work. Similarly, you can write a poem and talk about the inspiration behind that. The introduction should preface the content of your story or poem;
- If you want to talk about the inspiration behind a previously published piece of work, it’s acceptable to include a link to that work in your story (and also provides you with double exposure!);
- Short form, personal essays, chapter extracts, fiction, poetry, non-fiction, or self-help stories with your discussion of the inspiration behind them are all welcomed.
★ As writers for MuserScribe, we support each other! We are respectful, we read, we engage and we clap, (yes, keep that finger down and enjoy those fireworks until it reaches a nice round ❤️ 50!❤️) Those 50 claps cost you nothing but the boost of morale to your fellow writers is everything.
★ MuserScribe looks forward to welcoming you!

★ Musers of the Month
☆ Ani Vals is an English teacher with many interests including Italian culture, Keanu Reeves films, relationships, cats, psychology, graphic design, DIY, nature, and more!
☆ In her own words, the stories of Scarlet Ibis James 🦩 simply burst from her, spilling joy ‘here and there’. Scarlet, we love those burstings!
☆ Emika Oka (Mika) is a writer who, despite the everyday challenges she faces, shares her sensitive and unique perspective of the world as a hearing-impaired autistic person who also has bipolar disorder.
☆ Daphne Ayo describes herself as an ‘italicized poet, dog lover, chocolate junkie’, and ‘overthinker’! Welcome to the club, Daphne!
☆ K.B. Silver is a writer and author. She writes to sort the many ‘trapped ideas’ and ‘unsaid words’ left inside her head.
☆ Erica Neve, at the age of twelve, is our youngest contributor at MuserScribe. She loves to write —(short stories and poems) while her favourite author is Michael Murporgo.
☆ C J Coop is a poet and storyteller who blends reality, magic, and fantasy. He’s also an AI artist, Community Supporter, and editor.
☆ Yusuf Ali is experienced in graphic design, data science, and programming. His interests include writing fiction, short stories, and poetry.

☆ Harold James tells us he’s a ’90s kid who wishes he could have lived through the 80s’. Using his own words, he writes at ‘super genius’ level about the media, pop culture, and more.
☆ Moon Pie tells us she’s been a freelance writer for ten years but that she’s fairly new to Medium blogging! Her interests include sci-fi and fantasy fiction. Following her latest article, Moon Pie is taking a four-week hiatus from Medium to pursue other projects.

Summary
My vision is to create a community of writers sharing the magic … eg what it is that inspires each of us to write.
This sharing of ‘the muse’ is intended not only to help us reflect on our own creativity but also to form a library of collective processes for us all.
If you’re not one of our writers but would like to be, simply respond to this post and be part of something special.
Happy Musings! ★。・:*:・゚☆
