A guide to the active Medium publications accepting submissions
This article is intended to serve as a guide for Medium writers who are looking for active publications that accept new writers and new content. All these publications also have published the work of at least three different authors.
The hope is that this list will help writers identify publications that won’t waste their time and are more likely to publish the work of another writer (beside the publication owner).
In addition to creating this article, I’ve created a new publication to keep track of active publications accepting submissions, called Active Publications.
I will be adding more content to this over the coming weeks, so please follow and subscribe to Active Publications to get the most current information on active Medium Publications.
This collection of publications will not be an attempt to aggregate every publication ever created like Smedian (which I highly recommend all new writers check out). It will contain a small but actively updated list of publications that are great options for writers looking to have their work published.
This article contains a small preview of the publications that will be featured in Active Publications.
If you want to add your publication to Active Publications, read the guidelines and submit the Google form at the bottom of the page:
I’ve organized the publications by subject matter to help make them a bit easier to sort through for this article. Additional topics of publications will be added to Active Publications. However, the publications below cover a broad range of topics and are a good starting point.
