Editorial note
While we are happy to have stories on all money related topics, when it comes to the topic of investing, we will only be accepting investing stories that are evidenced-based and will leave our readers better off than where we found them.
Stories we are unlikely to accept:
- Stories on “how to become a trader”
- Stories advocating that readers pick and choose individual stocks
- Anything overly self-promotional or have the slightest leaning towards some type of multi-level marketing.
- Stories containing affiliate links.
- We prefer stories that are 1,000 words or more. If your story is under 500 words we are unlikely to accept it. Our readers expect in-depth posts from Making of a Millionaire.
- Poorly written stories. We often receive submissions that are simply not up to the standard of writing quality we expect from our writers.
While we are happy to add anyone as a writer and allow them an opportunity to submit a story not all stories will be accepted. If a story does not fit with the values of this publication or if the quality of a particular article does not meet our standards, we will not accept it. If you submit a story and it’s not accepted, please don’t take it personally and we welcome you to continue submitting articles that align with the value/quality of the publication.
Stories we are looking for right now
There are tons of “how-to” personal finance articles on the internet. While we will accept these types of stories (provided they are of a certain quality), what we really want from our writers is personal stories about how money has impacted their life.
Here is what our readers are interested in.
- What have been your financial struggles?
- What impact did those struggles have on your life?
- How did you get out of a bad situation?
- How does money allow/prevent you from doing the things you most want to do in LIFE?
- How can your experiences make an impact on our readers and give them encouragement on how they can become successful with money.
If a writer continually submits stories that are not up to a certain level of quality, depth, and sincerity they will be removed as a writer from the publication. If that happens, please don’t take it personally, our primary responsibility is to our readers.
