1. Understand Your Energetic Body

It’s easy to be in high vibration when life is going great, but being in high vibration when life gets hard is where it gets a bit tricky. I’ve lived most of my life in low vibration and it wasn’t fun. I woke up in the morning and some random thing or person would trigger me and it’d ruin my entire day. I’d wake up to see what someone has done, and I’d be angry the rest of the day. The conversation I had the day before would linger in my mind, and I’d be mad or sad about it all day.

All of that could happen to me at any time of the day simply because I wasn’t deeply rooted in myself. My soul wasn’t leading my mind because I was lost, so my mind had become my master, triggering and deciding what I thought about. My energy was all over the place. My mind was constantly replaying and rehashing old experiences and encounters, making me nostalgic or depressed about life.

When I started to understand that everything in life is energy vibrating at a certain frequency, I understood myself, my energy, my thoughts, those who triggered me, the emotions I felt, and the fears that hid in the shadows of my mind.

When I’m triggered and I remember my previous relationship and how badly it ended, I immediately leave my current vibration, whether good or bad and begin to vibrate at the frequency of what it was I was feeling. If I was constantly thinking about low vibrational things, then I’d constantly be in a low vibration.

Everywhere you turn is an opportunity to get triggered.

Turn on the TV and find out the number of people dead this week due to the pandemic. Turn on the radio and the words of the music playing can immediately bring you down. Ask the cashier a question and her bad attitude can trigger something deep within you. Painful stuff that happens in your life creates wounds in your energy field which hold you back from fully embodying who you really are.

These vicious cycles of waking up and getting triggered can keep you stuck in a lower vibration, holding you back from experience peace, joy, love, and other high vibrational emotions.

But those higher vibrations are that simple to be in. The idea that you can change your vibration instantly is a bit delusional. If you are really looking to raise your vibration and keeping it high, then it will require lots of healing, lots of conscious intentions, and lots and lots of patience. Even if you raise your vibration, there will be days and times where you feel down and low vibrational, but with conscious intentions, you can move from one vibrational state to the other just by changing your thoughts.

Working on yourself doesn’t mean doing activities like yoga, meditation, exercises, eating fruits and vegetables only, and drinking smoothies. I tried those things. It didn’t work for very long.
