3 Ways to Get Rid Of Negative Thought Forms and Free Your Mind
As you raise your vibration, you become more aware of your negative thinking

1. Observe Your Thought Patterns
My default negative thought pattern is, “I’m lost.”
Why I’m stressed out, deep down there’s always the feeling that I’m lost and I can’t find my way.
There are certain thought forms we attach to without being fully aware of them. As we awaken or raise our vibration, we become more aware of these thoughts.
When you keep thinking of a certain thought, you emit it out of your body. You emit it out as energy into the world around you, and because energy cannot be destroyed, those thoughts become things. Others may feel your thoughts and emotions, and you may feel other people’s thoughts and emotions.
Thoughts are things you can’t physically see, but they are in your auric field. They may be in someone’s auric field.
When someone meets me for the first time, they may say that I’m quiet. They may say I’m zoned out. Others may feel that I’m out of my body. My mind is always wandering about and they may say that my head is in the clouds because to me, that’s the closest to being home. I’ve observed this about me. To get rid of negative thoughts, you must first become aware of them.
Thoughts are all around you and you can only feel someone’s thoughts if you are in resonance with them. This would explain why I feel alone in my thoughts most of the time. I don’t meet many people who also feel lost like they’re faraway from home. This would also explain why many people would say misery loves company. We feel that which we’re a vibration of. Once you’re aware of this, you’ll observe your thoughts and how they affect you and also others.
Thoughts become things.
If you want to manifest anything or if you want to raise your vibration, you must purge negative thoughts or you have to at least have more positive thoughts than negative ones. To be able to purge these thoughts, you must become aware of them by simply learning to observe them.
This is where you must be honest with yourself. You must take inventory of your thoughts and the things that affect your thought processes, and the best way to observe your thoughts is to meditate and be mindful throughout your day.

2. Try Fasting and Detoxing
Another effective way to get rid of negative thought forms is by fasting and other forms of detoxing. Everything is energy, including food. The food and things you put inside your body affect your thoughts. It affects your mind.
When you eat any food, you take in the energy of that food. When you eat green, vibrant foods, you take in that vibration. When you eat processed and junk food, well, there are no nutrients left to take in.
Everything is energy, and energy is transferable.
Think about the people who prepare or cook your food. Think about what the chef might have been thinking about while he prepared your food. If he is worrying about his failing marriage, that energy may actually transfer into the food.
Everything is energy, and energy cannot be destroyed.
When you eat the food without blessing it or setting the intention for the food to be in its highest form, then you ingest all of that energy, thoughts, and emotions into your body. If it’s negative, it affects you negatively.
Fasting is powerful because it gives your body a chance to heal and reset. It allows the body to purge all the negative energies. When you pause stuffing your body with more food and you allow the body and mind to purge these energies, you’ll find that your mind is clearer and you feel lighter, literally and figuratively.

3. Take a Break From Your Cellphone
We can all agree that cell phones are necessary evils. We can’t survive without them but they can do damage to our minds. They mess with our thoughts.
In today’s world, most of us work on our cell phones. We do social media for a living but in the end, they do more harm when we aren’t conscious about how we use them.
Too much of everything is bad.
Cellphones are distracting. It’s a time suck. It’s one of the things that stop us from sitting with and observing our thoughts.
I’m not saying you should throw your cell phone away. No. Your mother may need to call you, but what I’m saying is to do some self-reflection to see if you’re spending too much time on your phone and if it’s helping you.
If you spend too much time on your phone, chances are it doesn’t really help you. It doesn’t make you feel good and you may not even realize that’s the cause.
Were you fine in the morning until you picked up your phone? Are you neglecting your family and friends because you’re always scrolling? Do you often think about using social media less? Are you stressed out after a long day of spending too much time dealing with things on your phone?
I’ve found that when I spend so much time on social media just looking at pictures and the lies people are showing me, my vibration decreases. I feel bad. I feel like life is passing me by. People are living the best life/lie and I’m just home writing and picking up Doritos crumbs from the floor. I get out of there feeling down. I think, “There’s more to life than this.” When the first negative thought enters, they all come rushing in and I feel defeated.
The opposite is true.
When I abstain from social media or limit the amount of time I spend there, my vibration rises and I feel great. I’m content writing at home and picking up crumbs from the floor. I’m happy when I’m not on Instagram comparing my life to a lie.
I have a love-hate relationship with my cellphone. If it wasn’t for the fact that my mother calls me everyday, I’d throw it away. Seriously.
What about you? You have to be honest how your cellphone makes you feel? Does it fill you up or drain your energy?
This is where you must take inventory and do some self-reflection. Take a closer look at your habits, observe your thoughts and take a break from certain things. Leave your cellphone in the other room from time to time. Let it die from time to time. Ignore it from time to time.
If your work is on social media, the trick is to go on there and do what you need to do and then get out of there. Don’t stay on there just browsing mindlessly on Facebook or scrolling endlessly on Instagram.
This will take a lot of discipline for sure but you’ll be surprised how much clarity you have.
