What if’s
3 Uncomfortable Thoughts I Thank Goodness Aren’t Things
Life would lose meaning for sure. Thank goodness they're just thoughts

1. The Thought That There’s No Bigger Plan
What if there was no higher power with big plans for us? What if there was no plan at all? What if you’re only here on earth as a result of a good old unprotected fucking session?
Literally.
What if there was no meaning other than sexual reproduction? What if you’re just biology and there were no prior agreements or soul contracts made? What if there was no plan and your parents brought you into a life of pain and suffering without training wheels or manuals? What if you must figure it out all on your own?
What if you felt lost? What if life got too hard and you couldn't get to say, “Help me, God.” What if there was no God? What if you didn't get to get angry at God asking, “Why me?”
What if you were disconnected from the world and from the comfort of having a higher power to call on? What if there was nothing bigger, nothing higher, and nothing more powerful that could help you figure it out? What if there was no help? What if help was not on the way and everything you believed was a lie?
What if you couldn’t rely on the thought that there’s a God who sees and knows all and is helping you behind the scenes? What if there was nothing behind the scenes?
What if all you see now is all you have? What if you were responsible for the things you see and the things you can’t see?
What if you really were all alone?
What if you had to watch your front, back, side and side? What if you couldn't look up and looking down would drag you down? What if bad things and ill intentions could easily get to you and there was no protection? What if you weren’t under the wings of a higher power? What if you don't make it and you die?
Life would be scary for sure. Thank goodness they're just thoughts.
2. The Thought That There Are No Souls
What if there were no souls? What if there was no motivation to rise out of rock bottom, nothing to keep you inspired, and nothing to look forward to? What if it was just a meaningless existence?
What if there was no life purpose to find or mission to fulfill other than the one you made for yourself?
What if all you could count on was your brain? What if the brain accounts for all thinking, knowing, feeling, seeing, and hearing? What if there were no other explanations? What if the universe didn't send messages, and the numbers meant nothing?
What if there was no intuition to guide you?
What if mind is master and ego is king? Would you feel safe? Is your ego equipped to drive you safely when you can’t control your own thoughts and you're steering astray?
Can you rely on your mind alone to lead the way?
How do you get peace and quiet? How do you quiet the chatter of the mind and the strange voices whispering in your head? What if there was no soul to calm the mind?
How do you do it?
What if there were no souls, no soul contracts, no soul families, no soul mates, no soul food, no soul music? What would you do? There’d be no fun.
Life would be bland for sure. Thank goodness they're just thoughts.
3. The Thought That There’s No Afterlife
What if there was no God to command souls to rise and ascend, and there was no place to go to after death? No special place. What if the people you lost just decomposed and disappeared into absolute and complete nothingness, forever? What if they were just dead and gone forever?
What if you never saw them again?
What if your computerized brain died, and you lost all consciousness and there’s no afterlife for dead brains and broken computers?
What if that was the end?
What if there was no higher power, no souls, death, no afterlife, no consciousness, no thoughts, no suffering, no spirits, no ghosts, no past life, no reincarnation, no heaven, and no punishment? What if you went into the light, got blinded by it, and everything turned, and remained dark?
What if nothing came to save you from the darkness? What if it was dark whether your eyes were open or closed? What if you're dead and the only thing that remained after death was the past and the thoughts and memories others kept of you? What if you’re forgotten?
It’d be a sad existence for sure, but thank goodness they’re just thoughts. Thoughts become things and thank goodness it's become nothing but something to ponder on.
