Dear Lovely Readers and Writers,
As I took down the Christmas tree, decorations, lights, and cards today, I felt like I was making room for all that 2022 has to offer. Our home now feels expansive, light, and ready to create something new.
Allow your heart to fill with a light you can shine upon all who need a welcome.
We are creating a new home here at Thank You Notes. It is a pure delight to work with our editors Lorena of Sharing Randomly and Ellie Jacobson.
Here are their wonderful introductions:
Ellie
Thank You Notes was one of the first Medium publications where I submitted my work back in June 2021. I’m so excited and thankful to be working with Trista and Lorena on the TYN team!
A little bit about me: I live in Minnesota with my husband of 14 years, our two teenage sons, and one super sweet furbaby, Mr. Percy. In 2021, I left my part-time job in health insurance to go back to school and start freelance writing full-time. If all goes well, I will be graduating from my MFA program at the end of this year and will start querying my suspense novel in 2023.
I look forward to reading your writing here at Thank You Notes and seeing where the year takes us all on this exciting writing journey!

Since this is a place for appreciation, I would firstly like to express my gratitude for this new opportunity! I bet this new journey will bring lots of fun days to come!
I’m honored to be one of the Thank You Notes team and for those who don’t know me, in basics, I’m a Mexican, an architect, a hobbyist, I love languages, softie on the inside, small, a person who likes chocolate, I love to give and well, so much more. If you want to get to know me more, hop on my writing journey as I even get to learn more about myself.
So here is to the New Year and new challenges! I’m so excited! Thank you, Trista Signe Ainsworth, Ellie Jacobson, and all Thank You Notes’ writers!
