Party Time! How To Make Cucumber Tower Appetizers
Art in the Kitchen: Simple, no-bake, and easy-to-make party appetizer
Cucumber Seafood Towers become food art — simple, easy, and fun to make appetizers.
Creative time spent in the kitchen making hors d’oeuvres and setting the table feeds my soul, enriches my well-being. When I share my creativity, I feel better connected to myself.
Taking a cue from Trista Signe Ainsworth, “creativity brings everything together and we can share in the joy of creation… create a beautiful life,” all around us.

How To Make Cucumber Seafood Towers
Refreshing and tasty little bites, these party hors d’oeuvres are pretty, no-cook, and easy to prepare. The recipe below is highly adaptable—change the ingredients to suit your preferences.
For this batch, I had all the prepared ingredients in my refrigerator, ready for lunch, dinner, or snacks over the holidays.
Ingredients • English Cucumber • Frozen Shelled Pacific Shrimp • Smoked Salmon • Guacamole Dip • Spreadable Chèvre (Goat’s Milk Soft Cheese) • Sour Cream • Micro Greens
Step №. 1 Slice 1/8-inch-thick cucumber rounds by hand or with a slicer. Three cucumber rounds per tower.
Step №. 2 Layer 1 cucumber round for the base. Add a dollop of guacamole dip, a 2nd cucumber round, spreadable chèvre, and smoked salmon strip. Top with a cucumber round, a dollop of sour cream, microgreens, and 1 shrimp. Refrigerate before serving.

Step №. 3 Arrange cucumber towers on a decorative dish or serving platter.

A lover of fish and seafood, these small fish-shaped ceramic dishes have been with me for many years — perfect for Cucumber Seafood Towers.
The table décor includes freshly cut greenery and pinecones from my backyard, assembled as a living table runner and decorated with mini string lights.
