Power of Impression for Writers

As you may sense from the title of my bulletin today, writers need to create a positive impression for their readers. Impression can be created by being visible and engaging meaningfully. In this context, I want to highlight two essential resources that our writers can use effectively to create a positive impression.
We have an excellent collection of materials to showcase the bios and stories of our writers. These materials are indexed in Google and are expected to bring more traffic to our publication and Medium. Bringing traffic to Medium is a collective effort. Each of us can contribute. Medium is based on collaboration.
As mentioned several times in my previous bulletins, writers need to create visibility of their profiles and content. The content market is hugely competitive. There is no shame in promoting our excellent services. If we don’t engage with our readers and advertise our services, readers cannot find us. We need to use smart ways and collaborate to amplify our messages on social media.
To recap, I recommend all our writers to create a bio. We have around 300 bios, but over 1000 writers still don’t have their bios. Writer bios are an excellent opportunity for being recognized and discovered. To create further visibility, you may also consider adding some comments about your writing style, interest, and other informed points. Leaving digital traces as many places as possible is the way to create serendipity.
I can’t emphasize enough the importance of writer bios for creating visibility.
Our second important artifact is your best stories
Many writers participated in two writing challenges. You can find the activity details from these links: Challenge 1 and Challenge 2.
I compiled submitted stories as part of this challenge in a single story for easy access. There are a few new submissions today.
Thank you for the submissions related to both challenges. I look forward to the remaining writers to participate and enjoy the benefits of this writing challenge. We need to collaborate.
This activity is an excellent opportunity to meet new writers and develop your relationship with them. This activity can increase the number of your followers and fans. The more fans you have, the more visible and readable your articles can be. Let’s keep our vitality and create synergy.

One of the purposes of this daily distribution is to access to our stories easily. You can read and share them easily. You can follow the writers. As of publication team, we do our best, but it must be a collective effort. To this end, it will be fantastic for each writer to take responsibility to create visibility for his or her own story. ILLUMINATION Slack Channel
We created a writer collaboration platform using Slack. We have 392 members. I added several writers to our Slack channel today. Thank you for the inquires and willingness to join our collaboration and innovation lab. New writers are invited to join our Slack to have a chat and collaborate with other inspiring writers. We discuss editorial matters, Medium policies, content quality, and overall writing skills improvement. You can request an invitation to Slack from this link. As ILLUMINATION hosts an impressive number of high-quality stories distributed to the topics from our creative writers, I compiled those stories. I aim to create awareness for the high-quality stories so that our new writers can leverage these excellent stories, model the styles so that they can improve their stories for increasing chance of curation by Medium curators. Our current writers know that we strive for excellence. We aim to increase the quality of your stories and provide an enjoyable reading experience to our followers. Quality is an iterative process. I notice that the quality of our stories is increasing day by day. The curation rate increased.

We have some volunteering editors who can perform a proof-reading for the writers from the non-English speaking background. You can search for volunteers from our Slack channel. One of the proof-reading tools our writers recommend is Grammarly.
