My Nineteenth Poem : The Echoes of Forgotten Stars
Celestial Elegy for the Vanished Luminaries
In the tapestry of the endless night, Where the cosmos weaves its threads so tight, A story lies untold, a mystery unfolds, In the echoes of forgotten stars, secrets hold.
Beyond the realms of the Milky Way’s grace, In the vast expanse of interstellar space, Lies a tale of stars long faded away, Their silent whispers still linger today.
Once they blazed with fiery, stellar might, In the ancient sea of the cosmic night, Their brilliance painted the celestial dome, Guiding wanderers far away from home.
But time, relentless, takes its toll, As it does for both the young and old, These stars, once vibrant, met their fate, Leaving behind a celestial, ghostly state.
Their light extinguished, their fires dimmed, Yet their memory in the cosmos still is trimmed, In their remnants and echoes, we can find, The remnants of their existence, left behind.
Black holes and nebulae, their final trace, Celestial remnants, in cosmic embrace, These echoes of forgotten stars now tell, The story of their journey, and how they fell.
In the language of the universe, they sing, Of birth and death, in a celestial ring, Their energy transformed, reborn anew, In the cosmic cycle, their essence continues.
As we gaze into the cosmic abyss, We’re reminded of the impermanence of bliss, The stars that once shone, now shadows they cast, A reminder that nothing in the cosmos can last.
Yet their legacy lives on, in every twinkle and spark, In the night sky’s canvas, in the endless dark, The echoes of forgotten stars, they remind, That even in death, their light is enshrined.
So when you look up at the celestial sea, And the stars that shine in majesty, Remember the echoes of stars long gone, Their tale, in the cosmic symphony, lives on.
In the depths of space, where silence reigns, The echoes of forgotten stars remain, A testament to the universe’s grand design, And the eternal dance of stars, divine.
