HALLOWEEN SPECIAL POEM
My Sixteenth Poem : Halloween’s Enchanted Night
A Spine-Tingling Journey into the World of Shadows
In the dead of night, on Halloween’s eve, When shadows dance, and the lost souls grieve, A tale unfolds, of eerie delight, Of haunted houses and the moon so bright.
Beneath the harvest moon’s enchanting glow, Ghosts and goblins begin their eerie show, They rise from the graves, their voices keen, For this is the night of Halloween.
Jack-o’-lanterns flicker, their faces aglow, As whispered secrets in the night they stow, A pumpkin grin, a spectral delight, Guiding the lost in the ghostly night.
Witches on broomsticks ride the skies high, Cackling and laughing as they fly, With pointed hats and potions in hand, They conjure spells across the land.
The black cat prowls in the moonlit haze, With eyes that gleam in a spectral blaze, A creature of luck, or so they say, On Halloween night, it leads the way.
Children in costumes, their faces concealed, Trick-or-treating in search of a sweet deal, With bags full of candy and mischief in mind, Their laughter and giggles, the night does bind.
Haunted houses beckon, with creaks and groans, A chilling experience in the twilight zones, Ghosts in the hallways, and specters that moan, They welcome you into the fear they’ve sown.
The howling wind and the rustling leaves, Whisper tales of the night that deceives, In the dark of October, the world’s a stage, For a Halloween tale, a macabre engage.
A night when the living and spirits unite, In the realm of darkness, under the moon’s light, Halloween, a time of spooks and fun, When the supernatural and real become one.
So, on this night, when the barriers thin, Let the Halloween festivities begin, Embrace the eerie, the mysterious, and strange, For in this world, everything can change.
